Oh, there's the rotation and feel I was missing from Ret this time around. Extremely tempted to main WW and Fire mage this time around.
It's really probably one of the most well done melee classes now.
I played a lot of SWTOR, and one of the nice things there was that there always was a button to press. Even if you ran out of your class resource there was a weak no cooldown attack that gave you more rage/focus/whatever.
Right now of the melee style classes (and I consider hunter to be more of a melee style class than a caster) only really marksman and windwalker have this kind of mechanic, and in most other melee classes I have tried there's a significant sit and wait component where you are out of a resource or holding off on using abilites to avoid running out or save up for an ability which makes those rotations seem disjointed to me.
What does Windwalker have? Every one of their abilities cost energy, chi, or has a Cd.
Energy is essentially irrelevant unless you spam the heck out of tiger palm, which you will usually not want to do ever because of the mastery, so the real resource is chi, and tiger palm is your builder.
That reminds me, time to clean my bags.... this transmog update has made it so much better. I can actually sell purples that in all probability, I will never transmog, because the 'what if' scenario has been solved.
they plan on putting them back in, it just requires a patch because there was a bug with them and the transmog system. One of the best things you can do with monk weapons is use the brass knuckle looking ones and give them weapon illusions. The enchantment graphic ends up being huge and basically hides the weapons. It can make it look like youre just punching people with chi itself.

A word of warning - if you just made that DH, he is locked out of old raids for 24 hours.
Spent most of yesterday going through old raids visiting old "friends". Except Hyjal. Fuck that raid.
I'd never done Hyjal or Well of Eternity. I went into those raids, and 5 minutes later I noped right out of that shit. Goofy scripted events are terrible.

it's just "here's like, 5 total trash mobs. they are going to come in these numbers. enjoy"

Invasions f'ed me last night. Still haven't gotten the plate belt, or mail belt and legs to drop. More than made enough shards to open the cloth and leather sets (which I wasn't going to grind). Are invasions still going? Will I have a few more tries tonight before the launch?
My plan for tonight is to get the last 11 levels or so on my last alt. Then... I might actually just take a break and play some Obduction or something. Partly to avoid burnout and partly because I assume server issues.

There's clips from the cutscenes that weren't in the beta there as well. If they're anything like the Broken Shore cutscenes, they'll be goddamn amazing. Those cutscenes were such a step up from the older ones, and there's a bunch in there we haven't seen yet.

I dunno that Trailer looked like mostly cutscenes from Broken Shore, so nothing new in that regard.
So when does it go live for the best coast? 12 am?
There's some bits in there I hadn't seen before - one had Azshara (based on her night elf model from the Caverns of Time dungeons) and another had Xavius attacking Ysera - presumably these have to do with dungeon and raid related cinematics.
I'm guessing those are cinematics from the leveling zones. I seem to recall there being a spot for a cinematic toward the end of each of the leveling zones and I think both of those characters played into one of the zones. I guess it's possibly from the raid zones or dungeons but I don't recall too many cinematic moments being in raids or dungeons since those tend to be repeated content vs leveling zones that are only done once per character.
I know where a couple of those scenes are likely from: (Legion Spoilers)
Azshara's likely from the end of the Azsuna main questline
Xavius vs Ysera is a mid-zone cutscene where he Nightmare corrupts her and then flies off with her afterwards
Genn's sweet flip is likely from the end of the Horde vs Alliance sidequest in Stormheim where he stops Sylvanas from getting something from a glowing lady
As someone who isn't getting Legion and consumed all levelling content in the beta due to that fact, I can't wait for the cutscenes to show up on mmo-champ so I can finally see them.
Ugh I am not built for grinding anymore. I got my shaman from 1 to 50 between lastnight and alittle today, but I'm not going any further. It's just not fun like it was when I was younger.
That said I'm excited to play my dwarf rogue! Going to use my 100 boost on him. Question, will I be able to make a Horde demon hunter after that if he's the only high level character on the server?

Legion's out a bit early for EU it looks like from watching the Fatboss stream. I guess as a buffer for people waiting for the countdown to finish. They didn't have to logout either, Khadgar just had a quest available.
Edit: Ohhh, they're randomly giving people in Dalaran the quest, to control the flow of people.
Ugh I am not built for grinding anymore. I got my shaman from 1 to 50 between lastnight and alittle today, but I'm not going any further. It's just not fun like it was when I was younger.

Started getting exp while out herbing which made me realize that the level roof has been raised. Headed to Dalaran, waited a short while and quest popped. Now I'm on the Broken Isles.
