i should mention i'm Canadian and, AFAIK, Amazon prime doesn't come with the streaming thing in Canada because we are a blight on the planet and deserve to be punished? Or licensing rights. One or the other.

Hmm, there's this TV show on the french canadian national TV channel that's interesting.

A long-time comedian who has a very large vintage car collection hosts a TV show where he drives famous people from Quebec in vintage cars around the area where they grew up, meets people from their lives, etc.

And now, i'm thinking.... if i were a famous person, i'd probably pitch a similar show, only i'd be playing tabletop games with famous people and old-time friends of theirs.

Probably would be a lot less interesting, though, idk.

i think about being famous a lot for someone who is completely afraid of being noticed.

I've had ideas for Doctor Who stories sitting in my head since I was old enough to start forming my own stories. Last year I got the opportunity to get some of them down on paper.

Now I'm going to get to use them, but not in the way I expected and not in the manner you might think.

    It's all very exciting.

i went brewery hopping in foco which was p good. i got some good food at one of the breweries, including fried brussel sprouts with an orange, chili glaze. i am currently doing no sugary drinks so i just had water throughout which kinda sucked. also as usual in public, when i'm not actively engaged in a conversation i stand there awkwardly, stoically, like someone trying not to cry after learning their dad died. such resting weirdo face. drove the boozers around for a while before i made my way home. there was a crazy lady pulled half-over on i-25 having some kind of emotional freakout. i rolled down my window and slowed down, as everyone else just swerved around, and she was just freaking out. no obvious physical injury i could see. so i just kept driving and called 911, as i don't think much good would have come of stopping a lane of traffic on the interstate to try and talk down someone with mental illness. then i got home and checked facebook and my sister claims to have stage 3 cervical cancer and is being started on chemotherapy. if true, i hope she's alright. but she's a prolific liar- lied about pregnancy, lied about rape, lied about buying a house, etc etc. huge, major life things like this. so i also kind of resent having to stop and wonder whether she's actually telling the truth this time. stop lying so fucking much!

    now i am home *meditate*

Oh man, if only. I suspect if that ever happens (and it probably won't, because BBC Worldwide's strategy regarding video games these days is "fingers in ears, off-key singing") they'll put the scriptwriting duties in the hands of someone like James Moran or Phil Ford.

Audio, possibly connected with a BBC licensee, but not the one you'd think. I won't say what it is, but as Y2J said, "NO NEW IDEAS."

Today my sister pointed out that my mom is still extremely mad at me for spending time with my dad.

Reminder that she straight up cancelled our day out yesterday because she was mad that i was spending time with my dad.

i'm gonna go with radio silence until she calls me back and isn't mad at me.

    Is that a good idea?
