Really? I found that to be one of the harder levels, but the most entertaining.
However, I do agree in regards to the final level.
Have you noticed the sheer number of increased female characters with story weight in the dlc compared to the main game?
Edit: not killing will be difficult in the final stage of the witches dlc as there are traps hidden in the narrative. Pay attention your first time through.
Yeah, it's nice that we have more interesting characters in DLC in comparison to main game. If i have a nitpick, then i must say that i don't really like Michael Madsen's voice for Daud, because
I will add to the NMS talk that I have had a couple planets with much more aggressive fauna where I've kind of had to keep on my toes but nothing too serious. However, sometimes defending yourself will get sentinels to jump in as well so what may have been a small outpost shop turns into a large battle for survival--though you can just jump in your ship and fly away.
While the single aliens can be a bit disappointing for a living cosmos, each can have its own encounter either offering you a new weapon, information, or drugging you and questioning what you hallucinated. Sometimes they're just keeping themselves entertained at their desk. I do love language as a barrier as you try to understand what various aliens or consoles are trying to say. You can still randomly guess and succeed but it's nice to not instantly know every language in the universe.
My only real disappointment comes from any battling in the ship. You're fighting way more maneuverable enemies that disable your ability to retreat and have so far offered no real reward for the high chance of death and damage to your ship.

in every movie between mission

I really like Daud though.
At some point it really seems like someone said "Who's gruff sounding and was famous once and is probably cheap?" and ever since then Michael Madsen has been a video game voice actor.
The gameplay is perfection. It's always got you right on the bubble of using existing skills to solve a puzzle/navigate a section versus needing to figure out something new. Feedback is just right, and if you are stuck you know there's something there you haven't gleaned yet. The transformations and outright reversals of what gets you through early sections compared to later are brilliant mechanically and thematically.
The art is sublime, dark and deeply disturbing. Animations and sound are super effective.
I'm not sure if there's a story, per se (the whole thing is kind of a tone poem), but there are definitely spoilers. Play this game before you see things that you shouldn't before you play them for yourself. This is a game that is very much worth full price, even at a well-crafted 4 hours and change.
I'm totally blown away. Thanks so much, @chuck steak for this. My experience with INSIDE is going to be with me for a long time to come.
Stay strong, Pixie. It's a trap, I bet most of the worlds don't even have anything pink on them!
Also, count me in on not really having the time or interest in NMS. The hype around it felt like a Rorschach test for "space game you wanted", like it was trying to be all things to all people. That may not be fair to the actual game, but from the outside it does seem like a lot of procedurally generated content in place of any particularly deep content, or an interesting narrative or context for the exploration. And frankly, the more practical reason is that I've got more than enough games I am eager to play. Nothing against those enjoying it, of course - just seems like it's not for me.
Hell, the new Deus Ex comes out in about ten days, that's going to eat my free time from the word 'go'.
Because not killing her is really easy. Going through the level without compromising ghost - not being seen. Now there's the trick.
Also I have begun playing Dishonored on High Chaos. It's glorious just not having to care *at all* what you do.
Specifically that one new enemy type you meet when you arrive on the island. Not sure how you avoid killing those unless they don't count towards kills.
Each week for 4 weeks there will be a different game up for grabs. The winner of the game will be selected at random from all of the submissions, but my favourite three will also get points. 3 for first, 2 for second, and 1 for third. Whoever has the most points at the end of the 4 weeks will get a game of their choosing for $30 or less (in Maple Bucks). If you have no interest in the game (or already own it) that is currently being given away but still want to make a submission to have a chance at the "grand" prize just let me know with your submission. If there is a tie I will just randomly select a winner.
Week 4: Monday, August 8 - Saturday, August 13 (Midnight Saskatchewan time)
The fourth and last game is:
To enter this week's giveaway submit something that is the opposite of a grim dawn. So like, some delightful summer shit.
The whole shebang wraps up tonight, so get in your last entries for the grand prize!
As I go through and select my favourites for the grand prize I will be posting some of my favourite entries. If you don't want your entries posted publicly please let me know. Please note that I won't be rushing through this process and it will probably take a week or more before the winner is selected.

It's impossible for me to take Daud's overly serious voice acting seriously because I still remember playing through Deus Ex when it was recently released and every time I hear a character say Daud's name I can't hear Daud replying because my mind replays JC Denton monotoning out "You Dowd?" repeatedly.

Yeah it's pretty much exactly a procedureally generated sprawl you explore around in while topping off needs and harvesting stuff, building slightly better stuff.
It's fairly shallow gameplay wise and narrative wise. But the exploration is satisfying and so is finding the interesting combinations of things the system has spit out.
I'm enjoying it, but I think I came in with proper expectations.
I feel like this is the younger generation of gamers big time to get "Molyneaux'd" into being overly hyped for a thing that doesn't actually exist in the way they want it.

It really does not help that this is a small team indie project that got hyped and promoted as if it were a AAA title by Sony.
So not to brag, but I finally spent the money I've been saving up from doing a ton of overtime at work on an awesome GTX 1070, which is so awesome that my new system bottleneck became the shitty-ass 20" Westinghouse TV I repurposed as my monitor when my old monitor gave up the ghost, so I also got this monitor.
I'm working on a list of games that are FUCKING AMAZING graphically that I need to check out and games that I previously passed on playing because my old video card just couldn't handle it. Difficulty: A lot of recent games I just grabbed on my PS4 when I wasn't planning on upgrading my PC anytime soon. Suggestions welcome.
Obvious suggestions that I already have on my PS4:
No Man's Sky
Witcher 3
MGS 5
Far Cry 4
Alien Isolation
GTA 5
Hitman
Arkham Knight
Amazing graphics:
Vanishing of Ethan Carter, so I hear
Crysis 3? I didn't even know they made a third one, but Crysis is traditionally the gold standard of punishing a new card. Is it fun?
Skipped titles I should go back to:
Just Cause 3
Metro Redux
Wolfenstein
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Warhammer Vermintide
Kind of a gaunt list at the moment, which is why I'm asking for suggestions
Once more about Dishonored: it's my third playthrough (instead of Brigmore Witches i started main game again to get Mostly Flesh and Steel achievement), and i am stll finding new secrets or routes to move through levels in this game.
It's truly one of few titles, that becomes better and better the more you play it.

Going to begin set-up at around 3:45 PM, so a little under a half hour from now. Come join the broadcast when it's up! I'll be doing this through Steam.
Finished the Dishonored Daud DLC in my usual low chaos fashion. Which is to say that I tried to be stealthy and non-lethal but then I get spotted and have to start stabbing people.
And that first mission in Brigmore Witches kind of turned into a bloodbath. I think only 5 guards were dealt with non-lethally in that one after one got an alarm off. And I probably didn't need to throw a grenade into the cell of a prisoner that yelled for guards when he saw me walking around.
As usual, it was fun though some levels were a pain if you didn't know the best ways to approach from and I really didn't like how some enemies would spawn in on places you'd already cleared out. In once case, one of those enemies spawned in dead so his buddies were on alert. And I really hope that Dishonored 2 has some kind of mark enemy system like most games that encourage stealth do these days as having to use Dark Vision to keep track of some enemies meant playing without color much of the time. And does away with anything like the rat swarms that will sometimes run towards to try to eat a body you took down non-lethally with no warning.
But great fun still and I look forward to the sequel.
Broadcast complete! Thanks to @Karoz and @HyphyKezzy for watching. A full hour of me voice-acting every line with the worst accents imaginable, poorly-drawn porn due to the uncensor patch, and frequent jibes/remarks at what the fuck was even happening. Main character I did in a peppy deadpan voice, Akiko got a kind of old British grandma voice, Kasumi was Mickey Mouse, and Akiko's boyfriend got my deepest and dumbest pitch. Text messages were robotic.
I'll be doing this again next Saturday at the same time. Come join and bear witness to the comedy.
Do this one first. It's really gorgeous when you crank everything up and it's also the shortest game on the list so you can bam it out fairly quickly.
Make sure and play the Redux version instead of the original (Everyone who buys the original version automatically gets the Redux added to their Steam library for free).

But not the dead dogs....although if the witches could raise the dead and provide a reason to rateat the corpses....

Corvo is a silent protagonist, ok
Daud / Michael Madsen is ok
Piero / Brad Dourif is ok
But then Susan Sarandon is Granny Rags, a character that can be completely ignored during a game?
And bloody Cersei Lannister Lena Headley is Callista, a character with no depth whatsoever?
And CARRIE FISHER plays a character that shows up only in very specific circumstances!?
I mean, what the hell was a logical process of coming up with that!?
Also I have begun playing Dishonored on High Chaos. It's glorious just not having to care *at all* what you do.
I would but I have to keep playing so I can save up enough money to buy one of these.

That doesn't look like an Allied Spacecraft Corporation Firefly class transport, nor an Incom Corporation T-65B X-wing. I don't understand the point.
