I am an elementary school teacher and this year I want to have a website for my classroom. I need it to be able to do the following things:
1. Have a calendar of events that I can update and families can access
2. Be able to post information/pictures like a blog
3. Be able to upload audio files for download or playing
4. Link up with my classroom twitter account
I don't need anything else (already have Google Classroom for marks etc.). I was wondering if anybody had experience with the various options available, such as wix, weebly, or buying hosting. I don't want to have to mess with coding or spend a lot of time updating the website, but those three things are pretty crucial.

You can also buy hosting for $5 a month and install Wordpress yourself.
Call me crazy but I didn't like the way Squarespace templates are designed. I wanted to use them for an ecommerce project but while they all looked elegant and beautiful, doing customization was way more time consuming than a Wordpress site. Also I don't like how you cannot transfer your data elsewhere if you decide to go another route later on. On the other hand, they offer educational pricing so maybe the OP may find it more appealing.
