Finally got my hands on MHG.

Especially after watching that video I linked....I have a gammoth bow....and a focus/Pierce up/attack S set mixed set while I farm the rest of the Black S armor....

from reddit/that video, I'm basically gonna hang back and spam charged pierce shots until a monster gets close, then I can vault off and smash it with a heavy arrow
might also try with a spread/pierce bow if those even exist? like, charge 2 is spread charge 3 is pierce?
anyway you guys can't stop me i'm crazy like a fox
(i would just try this with teo bow but I don't have access to normal up yet, I just have a pellet up +5 000 charm and a pierce up +5 000 charm so)

Been eyeing aerial style ever since I first saw MHG but yeah, adept would make more sense for run and gun.

I decided to try the same thing this time around. I got all the way through the village quests with lbg. Then I went online and of course unlocked more village stuff with it, but you can do pretty much everything with a bowgun. It is a lot more forgiving on money and combines in this game.
You know what? After grinding away at Rathalos for several missions, I've come to a conclusion. Don't feel bad about killing things like Apceros. Sure they're just lizard cows, but I now believe that these things DESERVE to die. In a very frightening way. The same goes for Ceanatuar and Hermitaur, don't get me started on Bullfango...

I think I've curse more frequently at GODDAM FUCKING BULLFANGOS than at any actual monster
when a big monster gets me, it's usually my fault
but when I've adept dodged through a roar and have a level 3 charge arrow notched...only to get smacked into the next zone by a bullfango out of nowhere.....

Most of them planted underneath a monster's legs....and then it would just ignore the trap and run away
Also the time he set up a perfect trap....and then someone cut Uragaan's tail off, and the monster flew over the trap, got up, and ran away
