Fel Flame is fun imo. Gul'dan is fucking scary if you are squishy cause he will just chase you down and shit damage at you constantly. The problem is his trait and mana costs and W mean he's gotta stop and stand around for ages with no health after a bit.
can confirm, if gul'dan is close enough to sneeze on you as Jaina it's fucking terrifying
and also sometimes you're not looking for the black pools and suddenly you have a dot for 70% of your healthbar on you

Yeah, I was incredibly underwhelmed with the Follow Through Tyrael build when I tried it. It might work if he's a bruiser, but even then you give up some very powerful talents in the process. There are so many strong bruisers and melee assassins in the game it's hard to justify turning him into one as opposed to making him the primary tank and grabbing someone else.

Drain Life rips through Hydralisks, so your W is literally ineffective. Any damage he takes while Hydralisk is alive is just negated anyway cause of the healing.
Then god forbid if he actually takes Health Funnel at 4. Which if you're a Gul'dan against a Zagara, you fucking better. It's normally a pretty shit talent, but it is EXCEPTIONAL against Zagara. Health Funnel completely and utterly shuts down Zagara in lane because Drain Life effectively has no cooldown now. Hydralisk? Donezo. Roachlings? RIP. Infinite fucking sustain? Yuuuup.
So I mean I was playing a Zagara and laning against a Gul'dan. I ping top and I'm like "yo this guldo is wrecking me can i get some help?"

I had to very politely explain that Drain Life rips through my W, and that he also has Health Funnel. Our Jaina starts cursing at me and I have to mute her at this point.
Wow though. Hardest counter to Zag I've ever seen. That's the kind of thing that requires multiple people in the lane to push Gul'dan out or he's just gonna stop Zag in her tracks.

I understand that seasons need rewards, and people should have incentive to play competitively. But man. Them putting those mounts on ranked makes me feel like I have to play ranked because I want that mount.
But I'm obviously very terrible at this game since I cannot even claw my way out of the dregs of silver 3. And coming face to face with my own awfulness is unpleasant. It sucks being excluded from game content because I'm bad. Bad people want mounts too, Blizzard.

The queue for the 2nd one was taking close-to or over 10 mins and we just decided to QM it.
also, last night with Cavalier (not sure of forum name) and I were left, our last game of the night.

at a point they only need 4 more core hits on us where we still need 15 or so hits. This means we basically had to deny EVERY SINGLE CAPTURE for the next like 4, and they owned one of our forts.
I even typed out "gg" after we got wiped and got us to those 4 hits left. There was no faith left in me, I'd been hurt too much.
There's just no way... murky wasn't teaming up, Kaelthas was face-tanking the front line for some reason, and we were bickering amongst ourselves.
then... something happened, something that only happens when the plants align themselves and your crush agrees to go on a date with you. This is some Disney shit here, y'all.
my entire team stopped talking, and we just started moving in unison.

kaelthas started hitting nova with his stun the moment she tried to delete him, allowing us to jump on her
kerrigan's combos were getting good hits

after about 15 minutes of struggling back and forth, picking them off, capping boss pre-emptively, I noticed on one last fight we denied and capped one of the towers, and I see their core was at 5 hp, and the towers were shooting for 5
and I typed "gg" once more, in disbelief
my team didn't say anything, it still hadn't processed
a couple of seconds later, the "holy @#$(* gg"s and such came out
We, we survived. We shouldn't have, but we damn sure did.
