The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Reminds me a lot of one of their Mass Effect comics. Gabe asks mild question, Tycho opens a horrifying door.
This time though, Gabe isn't nearly as put-out.

As someone who has been friends with a handful of weird pervs, I've gotten that Gabe face more times than I can count. The mental shenanigans some people go through in order to justify a sexual attraction to an inherently nonsexual character is astounding. My question is never "why are you attracted to that". As long as nobody's getting hurt, who am I to judge? But I always wonder why they feel the need to rationalize a fantasy so deeply. It IS just a fantasy, after all.

That's true in a sense. In another sense, it's not.
Firstly, because sexual attraction is by its nature irrational and subjective. Tricking sapient mammals into wanting to do it in the first place is bound to generate a few bugs. It isn't as simple as spraying you with a chemical signal. And when your species is supposed to learn, have a sense of play and creativity as a kind of design feature, well . . .
Usually it works well enough that the propagation of the species stays more or less on track.
Secondly, nothing is inherently sexual to begin with. (Hence, the "subjective" part.)
Thirdly, not all said fetishes are just fantasies. Some are held sincerely. (Being really into cars, for example.)

That is very open and non judgmental of you, but I hope you'll agree on one thing:
This is one aspect of the Shadowrun RPG that isn't discussed in the rulebooks
Well, maybe it is - those books are laid out terribly
Actually bioware and cyberware sexual augments are discussed.
There is fucking nothing that Shadowrun didn't have a sourcebook for at one point or another.
My favorite sourcebook had rules for how to stave off your editor from spiking your story when you were running over time budget on a newspaper story as a shadowrun reporter.

One of the adventures had the rules for playing Urban Brawl, one of the most popular sports in 2050 (basically Football with Guns).
