Oh yeah, there was some stuff in there that I had never really bothered learning, like the rubber glove in pine tar resin on the double bass, which is a fact I now love a lot.
But all told it was probably like two minutes of commentary and I was hoping for something a little meatier, oh well

I enjoyed the Masters of Monsters stuff but earlier that day I actually found this guy
He's done videos on damn near every single Godzilla movie and they're all detailed and comprehensive histories of the genesis, development, and filming of each one, and it's been some fascinating stuff! Lots of great little nuggets, like the fact that Yoshimitsu Banno filmed all the scuba scenes in Godzilla vs Hedorah himself, and the sped-up footage in Godzilla Raids Again was an accident, but Ishiro Honda had oversight and he said they could use it
Also it looks like that channel at some point uploaded a bunch of the other assorted weird tie-in shows from the years, nice to see that stuff get preserved and shared instead of just tossed in a vault.
Was at my local comic con and they had a Godzilla figure for 450. I think it was one of the rare ones because it didn't really look that cool in my mind. It did make me realize if I was going to get one it would be Shin. Not the classic but I think it is my favorite.

I dunno, I give them props for making a real tokusatsu ass suit for the trailer. Also yes it looks exactly as dumb as a bunch of unrelated franchises frankensteined together should.

This channel will reportedly have all Toho Godzilla films up to Final Wars, including the Rebirth of Mothra films and the 70s Godzilla Animated Show and TriStar Godzilla Animated series
A new 24-hour a day @PlutoTV Godzilla channel will be launching on July 1st. The channel will feature nearly every Toho Godzilla film, including "Godzilla: The Series" and the Heisei Era Godzilla films, which will all be streaming as Pluto TV Exclusives.
Somebody let me know if it's good enough to be worth resubbing.

Skull Island is pretty good! It's clearly set prior to Godzilla vs Kong
it explains what happened to all the natives
. I went in expecting a kids show as was surprised to find it's aimed at adults. There's a lot of monster kills and some mild gore. The creature variety is fun an interesting and while it takes a while for the big guy to appear he's got some great scenes.
they back up godzilla vs kongs assertion that Kong is nearly human level intelligent. He apparently understands spanish
Is it a resub worthy show? I mean yeah, if you're a kaiju fan or a legendary monster verse fan in particular its a really solid entry.

In English adjective order size comes before most other specific descriptors, however if Godzilla is a giant lizard full stop, you could possibly describe him as nuclear first
I think then nuclear becomes an "opinion quality" such as delicious, angry, or selfless, which is an interesting connotation. Nuclear could be Godzilla's attitude/predisposition rather than a description of his relation to radioactive materials.
Of course "Radioactive Giant Lizard" would then describe a Godzilla who has been Canceled
