Do you meet Radich Nikoladze in the main missions? I need an E-Book right next to him and I dont feel like stealthing through that Theater twice.

Only place I didn't stealth, I murdered every last one of those bastards, and I don't think it even really addresses it in terms of their illegal activities being affected.

    Um, not necessarily.
But you do have to go through the theater at some point I think. On my first playthrough I'd done everything for Otar and I just walked through it with everyone being friendly.

    What?
I think you must be confused. The Theater is in the red light district. As far I know, there's no way to befriend Nikoladze or his men, and being friendly with Otar certainly wouldn't help you with Nikoladze.

    Unless I've missed something awesome.

Same one. I've seen it two ways.
The second time Otar and Radich are arguing when you get to the room. Had to stealth in that time, everyone was hostile.

On my first run, there's no Radich and when I'm looking for info on the ARC plans for London I call up Otar and he says to come over. Radich is gone, and it's implied Otar had him killed. I walk into the theater, loot the place silly, and just read Radich's computer with Otar watching me. Trigger call to Miller and I'm off to London.

I have no idea what the trigger is for my first outcome vs my second. As far as I can tell, I did all the same stuff for Otar.

I did everything for Otar, and I certainly was not welcome in the theater. I was in his sewer casino though.

That brings me to a question I had: does anything change if you did all the side quests for Otar? Because I did exactly that, expecting Otar to oust Nikoladze and make things easier for me, but nothing of the sort happened. Then again, I knocked them both out after the cutscene of them arguing, so maybe I didn't give it time?

Apparently if you help Otar, he will kill Koller. But this isn't brought up, you have to go to Koller's place and you'll find his body with a sign saying "He had a deal".

All of the reasons why can be pieced together through emails and context. I love these kinds of things, things that are fairly inconsequential to anything but the story, but you'd never know about without thinking to go revisit somewhere.

I absolutely know why, but I was so fatigued when I got to Prague 3 that I didn't explore anymore. Holy shit that is fucked up, though.

    According to the wiki
this only happens if you accept to help Otar to get the Neuro-thingie, but then ignore his requests for help later. That makes sense, and is a really cool touch.

    Awesome. Damn.

The Deus Ex devs really do embody the "the dev team thinks of everything" trope.

Even Invisible War embodied it, as fucking terrible as that entire game may be.

    I really liked
    Koller

Even though you speak to him very little.

I thought the devs did a good job of sculpting realistic characters with realistic dialogue, desires, motives, etc.

    I bet the trigger for...
Otar taking over Dvali Theater is helping Otar and killing Louis Gallois (not allowing him to flee). Gallois possibly informs Radich as he flees. It's the only thing I can think of.

I helped Otar but I let Louis disappear himself.

@OptimusZed does that jive with your playthrough?

    For reference
On my (pacifist) run I helped Otar at all stages, but let Louis go free (obviously) and the theatre was aggressive to me when I got there, so I think you're correct. I can't really check because in NG+ I did the time traveller achievement and killed everyone in the casino bar the waitresses and dealers.

    3 days I think.

You dont need to do the Time and Score challenges at all, or get those 100% nodes. (I did some of them because I wasnt sure, by the time I completed all of Breach there still wasnt a single Breach guide up anywhere)

Just complete every Mission Node at a passable score, also some nodes require you to have "Punch through wall" and MagPie is a lifesaver to spot hidden stuff, but above all - Get all the hacking stuff, especially hack Turrets/Drones.

Reward nodes, Darknet nodes and Key Fragment nodes dont seem to be needed, if you are only going for the achievements you can skip them. (Darknet gives pretty good rewards though.)

EDIT: Also a little tip about the challenges, if you know you cant beat them, "Retry" it 3 times and you get a worse random reward item, but a reward nonetheless, you get 3 of these daily. (If you spent the 3 you have!)

EDIT2: If you replay some really short stages, you can get shitloads of XP really fast, on an early one I averaged 6000 XP per 2-3 minute run, in one of the last missions I averaged 16.000 XP per 4 minutes or something like that.

    Well, about that.
On my first playthrough I let Gallois "go" through the dialogue tree. Then, I decided I wanted the guns in his safe and killed everyone in the room.

So, yeah. Possibly if he dies you get friendly Otar theater.

I relieve this may be by design. The merchants always have the carryover inventory the first time you greet them when you come back to Prague. I think this is so you can purchase anything you missed with credits you scavenge from the mission. The inventories seem to reset when you come back to the zone for the second time.

    Haha.

Got Pacifist but not Foxiest of the Hounds. Never triggered an alarm. Periodically checked that I didn't have the "Alarm" tutorial popup in the menu right up until the last boss. Didn't trigger an alarm or even hostility there either.

    God damn it.

You get a choice at the beginning and one of them causes an automatic alarm - I didn't make that choice though so that shouldn't have been it either

Anyways I just used Steam Achievement Manager for this because I really want to go through this game guns blazing for New Game + and that'd be... hard to reconcile with Foxiest of the Hounds.

I heard something about calling Miller/Use the drill shortcut while inside GARM could affect Foxiest in some way.

Is there anything else obvious? I mean I am trying to do a Foxiest run on my first and it would suck to get glitched out of it.

    Alright game finished.

39 hours with much exploring and all but one side quest complete (due to personal choice because fuck that guy)

Expected length really dunno what any of the people beating it early were complaining about. Lots of content here.

Downsides: WAYYYY too much money/crafting supplies/XP in the game. Ran into a similar issue with FO4 where exploring feels super good and rewarding but awkwardly early in the game you run out of things to use that reward on and then the good feeling from exploring just drops off REAL fucking hard.

Overall though really fun game. Felt like Deus Ex.

Well, you can speed run the game in like 3-4 hours. I've done it. Twice.

But that's not really meaningful because a part of what makes Deus Ex "Deus Ex" are all the little touches, all the places to explore, etc.

Sure, the main plot can be slammed through but it's still an exceptionally meaty game.
