I've upped the cap on the100 ps4 page. I haven't logged on here in a while, or the100 for that matter... so it's up to an unlimited membership number - only caveat is that you must be in the megaroster, no non-PA creepos.
I've been playing too much Paragon, so I haven't seen the in-game clan functionality or if it makes the100 obsolete, but it's there anyway if folks want to use it.
yay, the achievement for unlocking my Hunter's 3rd subclass popped today! that's only 2(3?) days after i actually finished the quest line. getting better Destiny. next up, getting that Touch of Malice! any fancy giving me a hand with that later?

Hopefully, we can get through everything relatively easily. The longest parts always seem to be the totems and then Oryx. If we can blow through totems quickly that'd be handy. I might try to get a checkpoint for Warpriest beforehand if possible so that we can skip some frustration.

Anyway the CoE was good. Got a Her Champion with Crowd Control, Small Bore and Replenish on it.

It was very, very cool of bungie to put up all three Challenge Modes, and all three Court of Oryx bosses this week....but they forgot to set the Nightfall to one of the Dreadnaught Strikes. Womp womp.

I logged on the other day, but I suspect my (lack of) activity over the last few months won't have done me any favours in terms of remaining in the PA clan. I didn't notice anything different at the tower, so I'll ask a bunch of questions.
Has anything been added or changed over the last few months wrt content? Are there new enemy types on Patrol or anything?
Also, which weapons are currently in favour when it comes to Crucible? It was Autorifles last time I played, but I was an enormous fan of TLW back when it was in vogue. I'm not going to grind out weapons with particular rolls, so I'm going to have to rely on vendor and legendary weapons.

The current Crucible meta incorporates: TLW, High Impact Snipers (100 Yard Stare, LDR), High Impact Shotguns (Matador, Conspiracy Theory-D), Pulse Rifles (vendor Hawksaw), and bullet hose ARs (Doctrine, Arminius-D), Fusions are pretty rad across the board.
If you're looking at purely what's purchasable, start with Hawksaw, it's a beauty. Beyond that look at the NM AR (Righteous VII), FWC Fusion (Vacancy), NM Sidearm, DO Fusion.
It really is very considerate of Bungie to give the procrastinators one last shot at MoT. I still don't see myself going for all of the fragments I still need, but... I might be down for a HM raid on Thursday or something. Wife has parent-teacher conferences all night. Or I might just continue my quiet respite before the RoI rush. Not sure yet.

TLW got a huge nerfbat for awhile, but now it's back and effective as ever. High ROF autos had their day in the sun, but they got a bit nerfed as well, so now they're just a solid choice.
Pulse Rifles - Grasp of Malok, Hawksaw (grab the vendor one, it's basically perfect), PDX-45
Shotguns (Rifled barrel, Aggressive Ballistics, Rangefinder) - Party Crasher +1, Conspiracy Theory-D, Matador (if you still have one lying around).
Snipers - mid-impact tier (thought they just got a bit nerfed) - 1000 Yard Stare, Longbow, LDR
Really, just go grab the vendor Hawksaw and you'll be firmly back in the meta again. Rumor has it that the new vendor Dead Orbit shotgun in the ROI expansion is a Matador archetype with a great roll, so you can hold out for that one if you don't have a rangey shotty.
Also, fusions are back, incredible fun in 6v6 and 3v3, even Trials, but still has enough inherent weaknesses that they aren't considered meta top tier.

It is. it's a new experience because I wasn't this bad with it before my Hiatus.
