Why do opponent's card steals always get the best stuff and mine steal just utter crap every time.
This guy got two consecrates when I had none despite them being desperately needed. He stole my Lightlord, my Chillmaw, a Blackwing Technician, a Jeweled Scarab (that gave him a Shattered Sun Cleric which prevented me from trading with his board at the most critical time)
Absolutely nothing I could do. All the cards I needed to get the match in my favour were stuck to the very bottom of my deck, and my discovers were just an unending pile of shit.
God knows where my Lightlord was in my deck because that certainly would've been helpful.
Of course my pick (that I had no idea about and just picked a random US portrait for) would go up 3-0 and then lose. This is almost as bad as the cubs winning the world series.
don't feel bad, my friends on various sites told me it'd be a "sure bet" to go with Amnesiac or ThijsNL

just catching up on cards now. looking forward to continuing my mage and pally grinds with these new cards. reno for mage and the pally stuff just looks fun to me.

there's a lot of cards I like actually. simple stuff but interesting.
My Arena deck has 3 Mad Scientists, 3 Freezing Traps. (Not by choice.)
Go first against a Shaman. Starting hand: Chow, Webspinner, Mad Scientist. Okay. Pretty good.
T1 Draw: Freezing Trap. Play Chow.
Opp T1: Plays Tunnel Trogg.
T2 Draw: SECOND Freezing Trap. Play Scientist.
Opp T2: Coin, Feral Spirits, eats Chow.
T3: Fuck you Blizzard, I'm conceding.
It could be very worth it to wait until Amazon Black Friday sale before pre-ordering the expansion. There will almost definitely be an Amazon Coin sale during Black Friday where you can get a significant amount of Amazon app store coins for cheap, and then use those coins on the Hearthstone App via Amazon on your mobile device to save some money on buying new packs. I don't like being pushed towards dragons again as priest, but that AoE potion should be good regardless of deck type, so I'm happy there. Discovering cards in your opponents deck is good on a great priest body.
Talon...eh. Same issue as Temple Enforcer. Looks like a reverse Fire Elemental, absolutely never has a target. Until I see a solid 2 drop, this guy is relegated to stealth only minions. Which is a huge gamble considering the stealth minions currently available and the preponderance of 1 damage AoE currently out there.
this combo deck is way worse in light of that fact :C

I did Shaman (pre TGT) and Paladin (all secrets baby!) before, still don't really feel like I know what I'm doing with Druid though. Played some Forceroar back in the day then tokens and ramp lately with a few beast druid games.
did that epic tavern brawl ever happen? showed my wife some of the cards from this set and she got temporarily excited about returning. well we both did because we both love themes and vorthos is an important part of games we play. it definitely faded significantly when we remembered actually playing hearthstone but we'll see.
Pretty exciting stuff so far. Pint-Size potion is an effect I'm glad to have back, even if I'm less than enthused by the other priest cards shown (shocker). Shame the class has more dragon ahead of it for the next few months.
I would have rather had cards with cross-class synergy (i.e. Injured Blademaster for Warrior and Priest) than the route they went with tri-class, discovering stuff your opponent can't anticipate detracts from the skill ceiling.

Dragonfire Potion is phenomenal for all Priests. It's an Excavated Evil that can actually kill things. Not hurting your own Dragons is just (a lot of) gravy.
I could be wrong, but with that powerful board clear, Priest may be in the same position Shaman was before Old Gods. Just missing an ingredient or two before being completely dominant. Everyones asking for a great priest 2 drop, but will they have any weaknesses at all when they get it?
It will have the problem of fighting against other Dragon decks, though. Curious how the Warrior Deck will defend it's crown.

32 damage that requires 5 cards, 7 mana, and an empty board state on both sides.
AGAIN, not viable or feasible, but it was just for fun.
I was trying to think of other ways to do like, combos with Patches, but every result ended with "yeah but regular ol' Miracle Rogue is just better".
I think Patches is just gonna end up being +1 charge damage for Pirate decks, that's all. Haha, oh well.
