a minions thread for us true minions fanatics to just kick back and discuss and admire these lovable yellow mascots
these hilarious little creatures made their first appearance in the film despicable me (2010) and it was with this film they TOOK. THE. WORLD. BY. STORM.
due to the overwhelming success of the first movie, OF COURSE a second one was made! despicable me 2 (2013) once again featured our favorite banana lovin' buddies! and it was also the debut of the villainous purple minions

now after that movie, some genius

had the brilliant idea of having an entire minions-centric movie and thus minions (2015) was born! now this movie is actually a prequel and shows what the minions were up to before the came aboard gru's operation. turns out, since the dawn of time, they are drawn to the most evil, most despicable(
) people in history
it also shows that the minions did NOT serve with hitler because they were driven into exile by napoleon and his army
and coming next year, that's right, despicable me 3!!!! sure to feature more minions mayhem
