I don't know why the posting of their comic and news is so goddamn irregular. It isn't like it's a hard job. From what I understand the comics are typically done like a day in advance.

In short: I blame Tycho. Lazy ass.
I don't believe that they've ever really missed the M-W-F distribution, AZ.
Basically what I'm saying is, shove that post right up your hoohaa.
Gabe, seriously, your art has improved so fucking much this past year or two.
Leaps and fucking bounds.
Seconded.
As much as it gets tossed around, I think the expressions are generally top notch.
The expressions are overall great. Especially in low-movement comics like this one where you can just see the progressions of the expressions from one panel to the next without any other elements to distract your eye.
But I would like to at least mention that the Tycho lower-eyelids in panel two feel problematic. I think it might be the jpeg compression's fault? But the lower eyelids come out just about matching his hair and eyebrows color on my monitors, and it looks odd.
"Odin Sphere" is legendarily hard to type into Google. Few can withstand the fury of...um...of how hard you have to hit the keys.
Why in the hell would I google it?
I don't play videogames. As a rule, I don't really care about them. Why would I spend time searching for a possible explanation of the strip, when I can just wait a little bit and read the perfect explanation, from a source I enjoy reading?
I understand your compulsion to intentionally misapprehend things for the purposes of starting arguments, but Jesus...even you aren't that thick.

hey bogey, way to lock a thread with broken bbcode
Why the heck do you read Penny Arcade if you don't play video games.
I used to.
Don't so much anymore.
EDIT: I mean, I play AoEIII every once in a while. And I play old-person games on my DS every other week or so. But I rarely spend more than an hour or two a week on them, these days.
How hard is to grasp that Odin Sphere is a game when the fucking comic mentions it's a fucking game? So why would you then feel compelled to ask what is Odin Sphere and then use the excuse that you don't play video games?

Well I think you're clever.
i think sometimes he makes tycho look a little crazy- it's those lines along his nose down to the edges of his mouth. but yeah, art is really good.
just like how your moma likes it
Yeah, it couldn't possibly be Odin Sphere for the PS2.
I don't play videogames, so I need this shit explained to me.

the only thing that bothers me about the art, and it bothers me every time, is the way the line at the top of Gabe's nose extends beyond the bottom.
it looks like he's got a wart on the tip of his nose or something, and a lot of times it touches the cheek line and looks really weird.
Basically what I'm saying is, shove that post right up your hoohaa.
