what are people's preferred Crucible skill setups when using Nightstalker?
I've been using Graviton Forfeit for the shadestep, Keen Scout, Voidwall Grenade. Pretty happy with those, but I'm unsure about:
Super:
Blood Bound: Tethered enemies explode when killed. Damage to tethered enemies is shared to all.
Black Hole: The Void Anchor has increased range, lasts significantly longer, and can tether more targets.
Quiver: Fire Shadowshot up to three times. Void Anchors have reduced range.
I'm using Black Hole but seems like the others could be better for PVP
Melee:
Envenomed: Adds a toxin that damages enemies within the smoke.
Vanish in Smoke: You and allies near Smoke explosions vanish from sight. +1 Agility
Snare: Allows smoke to stick to surfaces, detonating when enemies are near.
I use Envenomed, seems good
Ability Modifiers:
Courage of the Pack: Killing tethered targets increases Recovery and Armor for you and nearby allies. Stacks up to 5 times.
Light of the Pack: Killing tethered targets creates Orbs of Light for your allies.
Lockdown: Grenade and Smoke effects last twice as long, allowing strong territory control.
The first or third might actually be better than the middle?
I use the middle one. Using "quiver" with the super could work well with Light of the Pack? edit: and also Courage of the Pack, actually. Might get more kills with Quiver over Black Hole.
I run Felwinters for Double Wombo Combo, Graviton Forfeit for Shadestep, Keen Tracker, Envenomed and Lockdown (for longer wombo). Super for me obviously does not matter due to Felwinters.

In the Crucible, you definitely want to use Quiver for your Super. That gives you three chances to kill an enemy Guardian or shut down their Super. It essentially becomes a Golden Gun that leaves a Void Anchors where it makes contact.
Envenomed is your best choice for melee. The infamous "wombo combo" is a Vortex Grenade + Envenomed Smoke Bomb, it will basically kill anyone caught in the middle. Snare sounds good in theory, but is lackluster in practice; Vanish is useful in PvE, but not as much in the Crucible.
I usually use Lockdown over the other two options. Light of the Pack is a PvE-centric perk; Courage is only useful if you're going to stay very close to your teammates, and even then only activates when you use your Super. You'll get a lot more mileage out of Lockdown.
It's golden gun, except it's not hitscan, its aiming is kinda awkward, and it's got a pretty significant startup time before each shot. I prefer to go with black hole for PvP, myself. Just focus on the debuff part of the tether instead of using it as an offensive super. That's just a matter of taste on my part, though.

I don't know. Black hole is a good choice for PVP too, and in the right scenario blood bound is a monster.
@Entaru I'm done watching the demon dog, but I'm not gonna be on the console for a bit. I've got the app open on my PC, though, so just shoot me a message whenever you're ready to try and get things rollin

Ok, @sPider817 . It'll have to be a bit later as I am still at work, I'll ping you when I get home and settled.
Mostly just huntin' monsters.

It's beginning to dawn on me that the reason I haven't had much luck getting legendary chest armor with bonus rocket or MG ammo perks is because that's not actually possible.
I'm kinda annoyed that Gifts of the Lost are just sorta pointless after you've gotten the shader. Basically instead of just filling all the bags when you play now once you do your 4 for 3 mask trades and 1 bag it just becomes mostly pointless.
Wished they'd left in even a small chance at a new mask to provide some sort of incentive to care.

To anyone having a shit time with 3oC proccing, run the Iron Tomb farm. I think there may be something broken there, but Exotic engrams were dropping like raisins at Eris' house on Halloween.
I've got in old friend in town for a few days and I'm trying to find out if we're doing anything Saturday afternoon. I don't want to sign up for the raid only to have to drop out. If I'm free, though I'll sign up.
I tried to do an Omnigul one last week and there wasnt a chest.
You have to change the difficulty to 320. On the rare occasions I get a key I check the strike loot tables and run the one I want via the director to get that immediate loot.
I think you'll want Sleeper Sim, if you're just basing this one what would be best for boss DPS in the raid.

If you dont have access to the Raid MG or Dark Drinker, I'd go with Gjallarhorn to be honest, its not the very best but its still great in a variety of different situations.
I FINALLY got a heavy upgrade... gjally? Void sword? Sleeper sim? A machine gun?
I don't have raze lighter or dark drinker.
Heavy is the only* slot I rotate when running the raid.
Intro: Gjally
Vosik: Gjally or Sleeper (am I feeling lazy, or do I want to aim?)
* Lately I've been swapping to Outbreak Prime + Raid LMG , but I really don't like pulse rifles
Zamboni, Aksis P1: Gjally or Dark Drinker
Aksis P2: Dark Drinker
PS: Get you a Dark Drinker. =P

“As it stands now, I am most frustrated by the continual nerfing of primary weapons to the point where they ironically take a backseat to specials, supers, grenades, and melee. I miss the previous metas where primaries were stronger, there were more gunfights, and the overall skill-gap was larger.”
I agree, sorta. It's definitely telling my two favorite primaries are Universal Remote and No Land Beyond, and that's because they are secondaries with unlimited ammo.

Yeah there's very few primaries that feel satisfying to use right now (for me). Hopscotch and Colovance are probably my favs. Wish I had an IB pulse drop.
Specials have been more interesting with Saladshooter and Trepasser (and sidearms just being more decent in general), shotties are still reliable

Sidearms are in a really good spot, as are Fusion Rifles, just hope they don't mess with them anymore. I feel autorifles and HC's could use some slight boosts to dmg and range, but not too much or we would end up with TLW meta again
For NS supers, Black Hole is generally the way most people go - being able to snag multiple enemies in both 3v3 and 6v6 playlists is a big deal, and it also helps increase your chances of landing your suppression tether on roaming supers. Quiver is a good choice if you are more of a solo slayer type player that doesn't follow your team. Blood Bound is very situational, but can be surprisingly effective in Control playlists.
I used to go Envenomed/Void Wall for my wombo combo (Void Wall pumps out damage much faster than Vortex, plus people get disoriented and don't know which way the wall is spread), but switched over to Spike/Snares when they nerfed smokes. My playstyle involves steady control of power positions, so snares are very useful for zoning off hotspots (as a fusion bro, it gives me the half second I need to KO rushers), and spikes can be so freakin' OP if you get used to placing them correctly.
I like to be very mobile within power positions, so I prefer using Bones for lots of aerial approaches and jukes.
Edit: Oh yes, and Lockdown, always and forever in PvP.
I never thought Supers would make up such a big percentage of my kills. Also kind of sad that I'm apparently better at precision kills with an auto rifle than I am with a Scout rifle.
Most auto-rifle kills end up being precision just because they all tend to kick upwards as you hold down the trigger, and by the time you reach the head the opponent is dead.

Is that percentage of kills that were precision or your accuracy with each weapon type?

My usual heavies for the raid are:
Opening the Eye - Gjally
Vosik - Void Edge to finish off supered Captains or kill those that teleport behind you
Zambroni - Void Edge for yellows and the Captain guarding the ramp controls
Aksis p1 - Dark Drinker or Void Edge
Aksis p2 - since a couple of my raids have multiple people using DD now, I've had to switch back to Void Edge (backup for Captains) since I'll use cannon and sniper for boss dps.

They dont show up in the director strikes.
I tried to do an Omnigul from the director last week to grab a Grasp and there wasnt a chest there.
Seems its normal strike, heroic and Nightfall only.

I think percentage of kills that were precision. Otherwise that would mean that 93% of my shotgun pellets miss.
