I'm fine with Mike not being in some episodes, but it would be cool if there was some acknowledgement of this fact somewhere... Everything goes on like nothing has changed, but obviously things are a little different
Polarity looks like a fun time to me as well, but it is always worth the fifteen minutes to just count how many times I say "no no no no! <sigh>" at the screen.
While I agree that it's a little odd, the game does eventually bring back polarity as a serious puzzle element. Personally, i think the designers figured it was such a simple mechanic they should go ahead and introduce all the others as well i.e. cubes, moving floors, green lasers, room twisting, etc. In a few more levels this all gets mixed into complex polarity switching puzzles.

Of course, at the time I thought it was referring to the big arrow on the ramp...but the cube stations have a reset cube button on them.
