I've always believed that video games and depravity went together like nachos and salsa.

Runyon Dralp is probably the least biased garmes jurnalyst I've ever read. He does a hell of a job.

That first panel is so perfect as to make panels 2 and 3 almost superfluous.

We've all spoken to that one douchebag.

    "I'm really enjoying <game>".

"Well you can't be enjoying <game> because other people say it's bad."

We've all probably been that one douchebag.

Runyon Dralp is a character created by Penny Arcade. The Twitter account is not real, or affiliated with us.

Was Runyon Dralp a name used in a prior comic? Cause if so, this is a dedicated parody twitter.

What is this I don't even.

That's good to hear, because it's pretty hideous. It's not even a funny parody :(

Yeah, the account seems to have been made in response to this comic back in May:

The meta aspect of the comic whereby Gabe & Tycho never age but Mike and Jerry do and the world starts to slowly slip by them as kids these days grow increasingly distant is always kind of amusing. I'm not sure how long PA is going to go for but eventually we'll have the 20-something Gabe & Tycho acting like your racist grampa, basically.

Which, dear lord, generated a 196 comment thread in the forums. I didn't recognize the name but now I find even this even funnier.

    Uhh...you guys remember Sonic 2006 right??? Here's a goof refresher: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sr_rd6DpxM0

Pretty sure there are more shitty Sonic games than there are good ones at this point.

Is it even possible for the answer to be "no"? I don't think the community surrounding the series allows the chance to forget that and move on.

It's like Sonic existed for one day 11 years ago, and nothing else ever existed for him before or since, the way some people talk about it.
