Music most likely used in a SciFi movie (and bits of it was used in a reality show)?

This may be impossible.

I happened to watch an episode of a reality show where they used pieces some very moody/sad music I am sure I also heard at like the ending of a SciFi movie - and now it just is sort stuck in my head.If someone can help indentify the music it would be great.

I can not really say what the movie was only I think it was properly like and ending scene of a sci fi movie. Otherwise I can't think where I heard it. I am sort of thinking of some movie ending scene where there is like the hero or maybe a couple of survivors traveling on in a empty world.

The music is sort one chord at a time for a few seconds with no lyrics and it payed for like 30 seconds during part of an episode of this reality show called "Married at first sight". It was the Australian version of the show and it was season 3 episode 5 and the music was used as background for the break up of a partnership between two guys.

The vocal version of this is called Agnus Dei (Samuel Barber, again). It was also used in The Elephant Man and Platoon.

It's this episode, I guess? Somewhere between 16:16 and 24:02? Nothing in there rings any bells for me.

I listened to the clip until it started playing a song. I don't know what film it may have been in, but the song is An Ending (ascent) by Brian Eno:

Ah it does sound like An Ending (ascent) by Brian Eno, maybe from 28 Days Later.

Thank you so much. Spot on.

You are all amazing. The music is the Brian Eno "An Ending" and for sure the movie is also 28 Days later (which I highly recommend btw.).

Somehow I could not put the music and 28 Days later together and I was sure it was from a movie I had watched more recently and not like 1½ decade ago. Now I gotta watch it again :-)

Also I gotta say the other suggestions for music may not be the tune I was searching, but based on what little I could give in my description they are good suggestions and also great music.

    Thank you all.
