Why this should be a non-issue: you never need more than 7 ornaments on any one character. There's even room between that number and the cap to support transferring and keeping some extra to use on substandard gear. I agree it shouldn't screw you out of an ornament if you get one at cap (start a new stack or send it to the postmaster). But there's really no reason to carry around that many on a single character.
If you really don't mind, I would love to run the 7:30 Pacific one, as that's 10:30 my time, and the other would just be too late

Besides that, if they capped an item stack at 10 and you get another, game should just start a new stack at 1, additional to the stack of 10.

This new book seems way harder to fill in than the year 2 one.
Yeah, it's less about the few story missions and more about the new playspace, new items, the Forge, new/updated strikes, and the raid
