Rius I got Garnet's BSB as well. It was new for me and I use Garnet (since I have her Wizard's Rod). Kind of sad though. I got 9 silvers, 1 gold, and the Garnet BSB.
Actually there are no FF3 or FF4 relics on the banner. Basically they decided that anything on an active banner was not a candidate for the lucky draw I guess? I'm not sure if there are any other notable exclusions, but those six items for sure are not there.
-edit- Looked it up, and FF8 relics were excluded as well, Rinoa and Selphie's BSBs that recur in the next event.

Definitely a weird choice for them to cut all of the current and upcoming BSBs from this. I mean, it makes sense, but they don't usually do that for lucky draws.
Some really powerful stuff missing on the banner, but it's still really good. Just makes me feel a little better about my result.

I can see why they excluded current and upcoming banner BSBs from a financial standpoint but it's still sleazy as hell
I logged in half-awake, and didn't realize it was a full-price draw until after I'd pulled.
That makes my result (a second Masamune V for Greg) sting quite a bit more. Yay, a stat stick got stronger, but I now don't think I have quite enough mythril to spend any on Onion Knight 2, if I still intend to put any towards Alphinaud or Raines. Currently sitting on 68 myth.
So now that the Black Friday lucky banner went live I did 3 draws, one on the lucky banner, one at OK 1 and one at Kain 1:
Black friday gave me 1/11: Betelgeuse for Balthier, guess it works with Terra's Firebeam and I finally have a gun relic.
OK 1 gave me 2/11: a shared SB named thief bracers for VI and OK sword, not as good as his BSB but gives me a reason to level him up.
Kain 1 gave me 1/11: Porom's Medica, I have to say that it is the most disapointing of the three draws, I already have a couple of medicas and even a bsb one. I wanted either Kain's lance or Rydia's whip.
Oh well, gives me more stuff to work around my team. Congrats to those who got what they wanted!
Since my Lucky Draw basically was a giant failure and I kind of want the Onion Knight's bracer I just did three pulls on the FF3 banner. I got every item EXCEPT for the Gauntlets. Even got 2 of Luneth's spear. Guess my FF3 synergy should be good now.
Like 32 days. What do you mean by non-gift? Known incoming Mythril is around 175 between now and then. 40 more from Thanksgiving, 25 from orbfest (a splash of which is after the 14 start date, but within the banners), 16 from a DU, plus dailies, 4 events and Greens Mythril.
Unknowns include the Gold Casino Mythril trade ins, if that's a December thing (not sure), and any Christmas login bonuses (1+3+10 perhaps?)
Basically there's about 200 Mythril between now and the end of the 14 banners. I'll probably spend between 25 and 50 Mythril on orbfest refreshes, until i get bored, and the rest will go towards 14. I really only want Papalymo's buff, the rest is all icing on that cake.
Is there a good way to check what kind of ability type burst commands are?
I'm curious if Locke's are thief abilities.

I wish more events came with a realm-specific experience dungeon, because I'm getting shit done with this one. Ingus and Arc to 80, OK to 99 (really just 92 to 99), and Desch and Refia are in the low 70s.

BSB draw: 1/11, Lightbringer
OK draw 1: Onion Sword, Arc Staff
OK draw 2: Gold Bangle, Onion Gauntlets
Got it within budget. Lucky Draw also got me a +holy weapon, though the SB is redundant with OK's.
That is a badass pull 38thdoe I am made less salty by the realization that I have almost that entire pull already. Faris instead of Wakka and no Tyro, but Hope and Maria. I really have no grounds to complain, and I'm glad people are hitting jackpots up in hurr.
I also realized that I can do that full up Earth team now, or once orbfest gets here. Yang with Meteor Crush and his Imperil Earth, Maria with Chain Stonega and her BSB, probably Faris with her BSB and Y'shtola with Wall, and just RW OK BSB. OK BSB makes a whole pile of mixed parties viable in a way that all other ATK/MAG buffs don't.

Having a second lightning boost mage weapon seems good for those times when you just want to RW Ashe BSB and blow shit up.
Oh well, it's not Ashe's BSB which is what I really want but a 5+ Katana is something I will not turn down. Nor will I turn down a Holy damage up to 8 hit burst command which will synergise well with Chain Limit Breaks later on. And oh hey, the second command is like Chain Starter and is a 4 hit. You know, this will probably push Firion into the very crowded Team Omega for when I absolutely must brute force a boss. Oh and Magic Blink. Can't forget that. Which means Y'shtola no longer needs to feel inadequate compared to Selphie.
Oh and the Sun Blade is also a 131 ATK sword with zero synergy AND holy boost. So it's a good stat stick.
Firion BSB is really good! I threw 200 mithril at that banner trying to get either it or Leon BSB (and failing, sadface). The buildup command is bad unless you're in an exceptionally long fight (e.g. the 200/250 Torment dungeons). The powerchain command is great, linking into either itself or Full Charge. And the opening is instant cast and provides party magic blink. And as you noted, the weapon is holy boost to juice it up more. An excellent pull, one of the things I was hoping to get.

So real talk: Lightbringer has 128 ATK without Augments, which is 10 behind my Zack's Buster sword (which is 15/15 Augments), and 3 points behind Onion Sword. So Onion Sword is stronger, but Lightbringer had +holy. I'm thinking Lightbringer is a legit candidate for Rosetta stones.
Aside: do I feed my excalipoor, 4th pumpkin and Witch's Hat as augment fodder?
Greg's and Garland's. Pretty content with Girugamesh's BSB, and Garland's is basically a slightly stronger Cecil's, with ST entry instead of AoE. Sanguine Cross Garland is looking very viable as an option.

Holy boost is way, way more valuable than an extra 3 points of ATK, I would totally upgrade the Lightbringer. IMO Rosettas are only for element boost weapons or natural 6* weapons. If I magically gained a 15/15 zack sword on my account I would immediately feed it to an element boost weapon of some sort, but that's because I've now drawn three different Sephiroth katanas off of lucky draws so I have VII physical synergy for days
I'm keeping my Excalipoor as a memento. Witch's Hat is a pretty decent synergy armor for XIII, which is a mage-heavy realm, so I'd probably keep that. The 4th pumpkin can probably go (unless you want to try to do some sort of silly EVA team at some point).

Nice! I haven't mathed out whether Lifesiphon + Sanguine Cross is better than Life from Death + Death Scythe. Certainly not having the self-damage would be nice.
Those are the two new Darkness phys skills coming with the Angeal event, right? I was just looking at those as I pulled Garland's relic. It's my only phys. enDark relic, though it's a shame it doesn't come with +dark damage on it. It's something to consider for him at any rate.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind Sephiroth's BSB, since it's basically power creep-proof, and lets you bypass your way past some annoying high-DEF fights (Nightmare Guardian, for one).
My understanding is that this is a real good healing one?
It's definitely quite good. Some people will prefer Eiko's for the party crit, but Aerith's is no slouch. Curaga entry with some AOE holy damage (very occasionally a bad thing), infinite Curaja heals that buff MND (helpful for boosting up Aerith's healing or lowering the duration of status effects) and infinite Cure level party heals is very useful. I have it on my alt account and I think it's great.

I guess it's fine. It's pretty reasonable to get Seph to 400 ATK without weapon synergy. Assuming +20% katana damage, Shout, and Burst Mode, the piercing command will do about 11k. Add another 30% stackable ATK (e.g. Dark Bargain) and it's more like 14k. Hard to push it much higher than that though, as that's getting close to the buff stacking cap.
If you can gear for 500 ATK (weapon synergy, most likely), it's 13k/17k with the same buffs, which is pretty good against U++ bosses, considering how much work it is to get a Thief's Revenge to hit for 13k against that level of DEF.

Welp, looks like it's Ramza/Vaan/Celes/Eiko as the core of my team. Now I just need to decide whether to RW Wall or bring Tyro/Y'shtola.
Does anyone know if crit boosts work for magic attacks (like the various BSB C1/C2s)?
I did the OK 1 pull as well and just got a Lust Dagger from it - not sure whether to quit while I'm behind or to take one more draw.
