Yeah, it's a new event now. A much more manageable 100 tier stream with set items every level, and random items if you make it past 100. New specialist unlocks at tier 1, new SMG at 50 and new AR at 100.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.

I bought the melee Bell thing. It feels bad to do, but I had 2000 codbux from getting the season pass I guess, and hitting people with a lighted bell that rings and shoots snow is pretty funny.

I've been pretty tempted to do the same. I have over 3000 codbux from whatever edition I bought, and haven't really been tempted to use them on anything else so far.

I wanted that Roman Armor skin for Ajax, but only have 500 COD points I got for free for installing the app. It's 800 points for the skin, or $8. Which means I would have to buy at least $5 of points to afford it. Sooo not worth it! I mean come on, $8 for a skin? My wallet is safe for now, at least.

Psa you can destroy a strike team if you Icepick the chopper before the guys drop out. Use this knowledge while you can, as I'm 100% certain a massive zero Nerf is coming in the near future.

Zero seems fine to me, and I love that Torque now has a super hard counter in hardcore. Her grenade can destroy razor wire instantly, so awesome!

Zero definitely needs a Nerf, she's wildly too powerful atm and every match 2 per team. Streaks are instantly gone, most equipment is useless.. she's warping the game totally.

Something fucky is going on in the XB1 version of Blackout. Matches just aren't filling up. The last one sat at around 50 people for a good five minutes, and then just launched with that many.

PSA: Brawler perk is now OP in blackout. Like, one punch kill even if they're trauma kitted to 200 health with full level 3 armor. It's kind of hilarious actually.

Wow, I might have to try that just for laughs. I've been trying to do a character unlock that requires starting off at the Asylum, and I'm getting a little too used to crouching right around the corner from a high traffic doorway with a bowie knife and stabbing people who are coming for the same item I am.
They should just get rid of the level 3 armor. I'm pretty confident going after anybody I get the jump on, but if I see they have level 3 armor I will just hide and hope they don't detect me. Feels so bad to start shooting a guy from behind, have them take a second to find me, and then take me out after I just put a whole clip in him.

I just got BLOPS 4 on XB1 and it's dang fun. Got 3rd place on my second game of blackout and have been super enjoying using Battery in regular multiplayer. Can you do clans or anything? Any tips? (I guess i'll read the past few pages) I've never played zombies so i have no idea how that stuff works.

Guess what I learned the hard way? If you didn't finish your diamond camos on SMGs or ARs prior to obtaining the new guns, the number of guns you need to "complete" before you get diamond just when up by one.

imho, seriously go watch a Youtube video to get zombies. Or do what I did play with a FAQ next to you on the easiest difficulty so you can learn the map and learn what you have to do to Pack a Punch. Then either play until you die or try to do the Easter Egg.

Also, for the alcatraz map, if you're playing solo make sure you're playing as Richtofen. There's at least one step in the easter egg that he has to do, and the bots wont do it.

Nothing in the black market matters at all - start there. Otherwise, there's a bunch of emblems and stickers and specialist outfits and gun camos and extra characters for Blackout and whatever that can be unlocked just by playing the game. The stuff that goes from Tier 1 to Tier 100 all gets unlocked progressively over time. There are a couple of new guns in the current set of tiers (1 SMG and 1 AR) but neither one is really better than any of the normal guns, so it's no big deal if you don't manage to unlock them.
There are some additional black market unlocks available that require spending whatever they actually call CoDbucks. If you bought a deluxe edition then you got some with your purchase. Otherwise you have to pay for them. You can also get a small number (400 or so?) by downloading the CoD app and registering for it with your Xbox acct info. The stuff you can get this way is entirely cosmetic - new gestures that you really never use except during that pre-match waiting period in Blackout, outfits, emblems, camos and so on. I would ignore it entirely, except I got a pile of CoDbucks for purchasing the edition that came with a season pass. I've picked up a Blackout character and a couple of gestures and outfits and still have a pile of these stupid points.
You don't have to buy the 100 tier one, no. There's special orders for cosmetics where you can overpay for the privilege of grinding out smaller 10 tier passes.

I'm already about 16 tiers past the end of the current set.
Also my fav CoD multi experience was always BLOPS 1 and daaang son, there are blops 1 maps in this game!
