i dunno about all this ire for cabalist tome and babbling book. It's not like you know their deck anyway.
And discovery cards can blindsight you just as hard. And using two cards to get a flamestrike + 2more spells doesn't seem that much of an advantage. That could have been flamestrike and a spell of choice. Oh and you miss out on a whopping 1/1 body.
It's not "all this ire". It's only me. And it's only because it's every game I hop into. I had a night where I played 10 games and 9 of them were flamewanker mages. When I made that last post, it was 6 out of 9. I don't care for random effects, I don't find them funny like most people, so playing them every single match feels like I died and I'm in hell. It's not about power or win rates. It's about me being cursed.

Nah, there's more than just your ire. Pros have been complaining about babbling book and tome turning skilled situations into crapshoots like what happened with Pavel v. Amnesiac.
And bwanie, as you get better at the game, you'll know what's in your opponent's deck, generally. Especially when you get up to higher ranks, because then people will be playing optimized lists--if a paladin plays a bluegill warrior on turn two I can tell you their decklist to within like 3 or 4 cards, because that is a known deck that people find online and copy.
i have to remember that it's silly to try to predict what is in decks around rank like 15-20.
oh of course you have avenging wrath and evolved kobold for lethal.
:rotate:
Evolved Kobold actually sees play in a couple specialized decks (at least Freeze Mage, unsure of anything else, maybe an uncommon Druid deck?). Avenging Wrath and that is a... rare combo :P
Went secrets Hunter to run away from the madness.
Got wrecked by a rogue using drakes, kobolds, and a few other non-Malygos spell damage cards.
Sinister strikes outside of miracle rogue what a world.
i feel like with all the handbuffs in mean streets, it's really hard to evaluate these cards. like some of these cards seem understatted or unplayable, but if that slime that is 4/3 weapon reduction becomes a 5/4 or even a 6/5 for 3 mana, then suddenly, it's like, hmmm, maybe not so bad.
obviously, it could have been a different (better) card that got buffed to become even better, but a 6/5 for 3 mana is still a 6/5 for 3 mana. it's almost as if you'd want the buffs to hit your little guys, because a 9/9 medivh on turn 8 is a lot less useful than a 6/5 on turn 3.

You definitely want these buffs to hit your little guys, but handbuffs work for any minion so you should still pick the best value ones since those will become even more valuable. A 3/4 would be preferable to a 4/3, because buffed it becomes a 4/5 and thus a yeti and thus the best card in the game.
But yeah it's hard to guess how good or bad these cards are considering how the meta might shift. If weapon removal becomes more useful it might see play, especially for classes that don't want to run a 3/2 ooze.

Ahwell, no Warlock Legendary reveal today. Everyone on reddit was saying it's rigged and it'll hit 100% by 10am anyway. Oops.jpg

Yeah. There's a lot of stupid ideas in that subreddit.
Or just bad memories. If we didn't get enough tweets together back in TGT, they wouldn't reveal both cards.
This was never going to be any different.
That said, I think Blizzard should've made this closer to the TGT reveals. Voting for one of two cards to reveal and giving the special option of tweeting to reveal both was way more engaging than just clicking a button.
I guess the idea is that Druid just gets 2 mana crystals every turn. always has 10 mana
fixed that for ya
This seems like a really, really good card. I don't know what Jade Golem is, and I guess the overall strength of the card hinges on that... But, if we simply think of this as "3 mana, gain a mana crystal and put a body on board", it's pretty good.

I do well with maly druid in general but I have had a sick streak of hitting ramp
just played against a handlock... I ramp on 2 and then again on 5 (the latter with nourish)
they drop turn 4 mountain giant, I drop a turn 4 rag and snipe it. instaconcede.
On closer examination, I think I'm super mad about the rogue legendary. Don't know what possessed me to play Rogue today but that is a class in desperate need of assistance in Standard. I hope the Jade Lotus have a fun gimmick.

of course then I get a game where I could have won but maly was my last card and both wild growths were among the last 5 cards

Don't blame just the subreddit. That very idea was floated here the other day.
Love arena as well, I don't want more OG packs though so I feel it is pretty easy to wait for MSoG. Definately going to save a couple of g's for a few runs when it hits tho... gotta get that 12 win

What is this new thing where druids run Jungle Moonkin unironically?
Extra redundancy for spell power. It also combos really well with moonfire and living roots to generate large tempo swings. As long you as get the benefit first, it's mostly worth it.

Same.
Just the cherry on top of a day of particularly shitty RNG.
Ended up taking ye olde Secrets Pally list into Wild just to get away from the Midrange Shaman nonsense in standard.
Spent a few bucks. Got a few bucks and am almost finished beating Kharazahn. Should I bother with Black Rock or Explorer's?
Both rotate out of standard pretty soon (early ish next year), if that matters to you (it would to me).
