1. We have Tomb Pillager, which is strictly better.
2. Our five-drop spot is occupied by Azure Drake. +1 Spell Power and a Card is better than maybe a Coin.

I actually don't think Burgly Bully is a very good card though.
It's a 5 drop so your opponent is probably gonna have some minions on board. Which means they'll be able to deal with it without needing to use a spell.
It's the same thing as Troggzor, right? Everything thought that card was gonna be nuts, everyone thought it was gonna be bananas. A board full of Troggs!!
And it never panned out because 6 health is pretty easy to deal with and it came down too late. Bully is in a similar spot. Unless you're up against hard control decks, you probably won't get much value from it.
Rogue doesn't need it, yeah. I was just trying to find some sorta use for it, but they have Tomb Pillager and they also now have Counterfeit Coin. This doesn't seem necessary.
It's just probably never going to pan out the way one would envision it to pan out. You might get one coin if you're lucky, but every other time it's gonna just be a 5 mana 4/6.

Consider it in Ramp Druid, when someone uses innervate or WG to have it out early.
...and of course, as always, Kill Hitler.

Firebat's production values keep getting better and better. Oh, and a nice card too.
I've grown tired of Shaman mirrors so I'm just doing Wild Freeze for the rest of the season. Im trying double Coldlight, no Acolyte and Kobold over Pyroblast. I think I'll end up changing a Coldlight to an AHB.
Well one important thing is that Bully has 6 health at 5 mana instead of 6 health at 7 mana, it's a lot harder to trade into 6 health 2 turns earlier. Of course, Spectral Knight is basically the same card and didn't even see play in Druid after a month, so it's probably not happening.
The name is stupid as hell, though.
Edit: to clarify, "strictly better" is a specific CCG term that refers to a card that is similar to another card in all respects, with some additional effect that makes it "better." So, for instance, Pompous Thespian (3/2 with taunt) is technically a strictly better Bloodfen Raptor (a vanilla 3/2).
While Burgly Bully is probably a bad card that is not going to be played over Tomb Pillager or Azure Drake, those cards are not "strictly better" than it because they're too dissimilar for that kind of comparison.
You're right, the beast synergy from Bloodfen Raptor means that's a bad example. Both of the above examples are actually strictly better. They're also strictly better examples.
Oh, I was not aware that strictly better was some sort of terminology used with previous connotations. I was using it as a phrase indicating that Tomb Pillager is a strictly better card than this new Trogg that will see zero play. Even when Standard rotation happens, Azure Drake is ever green and I don't see anyone playing this Trogg over Drake. So, yeah, to me, it's unplayable. I should have said unplayable, I guess.
Pokemon came out, what's a hearthstone? (Also that looks super standard and boring)
The burgle bully seeing no play would surprise me; you're not going to have 6 power on board when it comes down in curve, so you either get to attack with it or it eats one spell and is tomb pillager. Tomb pillager is a very good card, you'd run four of it if you could. It's not a 4 drop, sure, but another 5 drop is not the end of the world (probably).
People need to stop thinking "this is where than pillager" or "this is worse than drake" because that totally ignores the value that could be derived running all three. No need for false dichotomies.

Okay sure, and if it weren't for Counterfeit Coin I'd agree with you.
But Counterfeit Coin exists and does Rogue REALLY need more than 4 coins? There is such a thing as too much, after all.
That'd be like saying "Well I already have a solid number of card draw in my deck, it's good cycle, but LET'S ADD MORE"
Moreover, you'd have to remove something from Miracle Rogue to fit this guy in. You're already gonna have to remove something for Counterfeit Coin.
I just don't think it's that great, honestly. It's okay, it's not bad, but it's not as CUH-RAZY as everyone's making it out to be. It might be playable, but chances are likely that it won't see much play.
Remember Burly Rockjaw Trogg? Remember Troggzor? Yeah, me neither, because neither saw any play and didn't have the predicted impact everyone thought they would.
If I'm wrong I'll admit it and eat my words. I hope I'm wrong! It's never fun to see a new card (especially an epic!) and go "yeah no this card won't see play." I hope it does but it most likely won't.

We could make some sort of wager? I predict this doesn't see play in any tournament Rogue deck.

Keep on queueing into counter decks around 70% of my games... fine.
But consistently getting the worst possible dailies while I'm trying to build up gold for MSG... could you please give me a break.
Tavern Brawl quest yesterday during Heroic Brawl. Today destroy minions for 40 gold which then re-rolled to 40 gold for winning 3 games. Unavoidable 40 gold quest which is going to put me even further behind on my goal for my gold total which was already pretty fucked after Thursday and Friday's quests.

I would play in a tournament with it just to torpedo your wager
Priest is making a strong comeback with this expansion. I know people can hate Priest, but it has been a while since it's been good or at least competitive. Good on Blizzard.

Or Magma Rager and Ice Rager
Booty Bay is better in joust and Evolve decks.
