"stitching" videos together

I am in the process of converting several .flv videos from Youtube into .wmv format so I can put them on my Gigabeat. I am currently using the program "Super" which does a fine job converting the files. Unfortunately, the Gigabeat does not allow for "sub-folders" in the video menu, so I would rather have the entire video as one long video rather than 13 seperate ones.

I need to find a way to "stitch" these videos together. I tried using Windows Movie Maker, except when I use the .wmv converted from Super, it says that the file is not indexed and therefore cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker.

I have another program that converts the .flv's to .avi, but for some reason sometimes the sound does not match the video in several spots.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to "stitch" these videos together?
I really appreciate it.

edit: I suppose I could re-convert the .flv's into another format that hopefully windows movie maker accepts, but I would rather not re-convert everything all over again. Any suggestions?
