I figured I should share these links with as many people as possible and some of you don't post in D&D.

Trump won the Electoral College (despite losing the popular vote by a considerable margin). As he builds his transition team, the question is, what do we do now? Long term is a little beyond me, but in the short term, you can:

-Donate
There are several causes that are going to be in severe need of charity in the coming years. This link has a large list of causes you can donate to.

-Call Your Congressman. Repeatedly
Even if they're Republican, if they get a few thousand angry calls about something, they may listen. They supposedly work for you, after all. Right now we should be putting pressure on them to stand up to Trump's INCREDIBLY TERRIBLE cabinet appointments, like white nationalist Stephen Bannon, heavy islamaphobes Mike Pompeo and Michael Flynn and "Was so racist the Republicans turned their backs on him in the 80's" Jeff Sessions.

Rep. Elijah Cummings has called for a bipartisan review of Trump's financial arrangements for potential conflicts of interest before he’s sworn in as president. He's asking people to phone the House Oversight Committee and tell them to ask Chairman Chaffetz to go through with it. You can reach them at 202-225-5074, and there's a pre-made script in the google doc I posted above. Apparently due to next week being a short week, time is of the essence. Last I heard they were getting swamped with calls.

Paul Ryan's ACA poll
Paul Ryan's office is conducting a survey hoping to show a popular mandate to repeal the ACA (Obamacare). I just took it. It's automated and quick. Here's what to do:

1) Call (202) 225 - 3031
2) **WAIT through 40 seconds of pure dead silence suggesting you have called the Death Star. (Seriously. Don't hang up. There's no hold music. It's a little odd.)
3) You will get prompted by the survey
4) Press 2 to participate
5) Press 1 to register your support for the ACA

The number is legit (I checked). You'll have to listen to the recording complain about Obamacare for a bit, so heads up.

-The Election Isn't Quite Over Yet
Louisana had a runoff election because none of the 25 candidates got a majority of the vote, so the top two are going to head to head on December 10th. Democrat Foster Campbell is one of the two. It's not going to be an easy battle, but Foster is blue collar as hell and his opponent isn't the incumbent, so there's definitely a chance, especially with no third parties to spoiler. Louisiana actually elected a Democrat Governor recently! They're accepting campaign donations and if you're nearby you can even volunteer. Winning this would push the Senate to 49/51. While that doesn't give the Dems control, it would make it easier to pull enough Republicans over when trying to reign in Trump's more egregious behavior.

-Most of all: Share these links!
Send them to anyone who you think will listen.

That survey for Paul Ryan doesn't seem to be working for me.

I get a message that his mailbox is full, and if I just hang out for a minute it hangs up.
