Yeah, I might try for one Cupid Artemios for Cecil. I'm far behind and getting further behind on TM farming vs accumulated units, but at some point we'll get the 30 NRG bump and I'll feel comfortable burning lapis on TMs to catch up a bit.
I'm definitely going to farm the C.Luna TMs separately, though, and give Refia both of them. She's going to have my Ring of the Lucii, after all.
Yeah the elite level of this event is a MASSIVE step up from pro. I was autoattacking with only 3 characters on pro to kill everything. Elite i got wiped on third boss.
Going into the final ELT fight with my arena team was a terrible mistake. I made it all the way to the dragon but wiped because double wind chizuru double exdeath cecil was laughably improperly geared for that fight.

I've gotten the Gigantaurs, the Tickets, the Quartz, tons of the cheap 6* mats and the 30k Moogle. I have 15k Candy; do I grind for another 2 days nonstop to get the axe, given that I'm currently trust farming a pair of Pirate Axes, or do I buy the 15% HP Materia and call it quits?
As much as the farming bores me, 2 days of TM grinding wouldn't be more than 6% to each Mercedes, so it's probably worth it to tough it out. And pray for Rabites.

Holy fuck, is he not to be trifled with at all. Granted, I didn't have a shellga effect and I brought Chizuru instead of a tank because I was arrogant, but good fucking god, does that goddamned dragon hit like a truck and absorb an ungodly amount of damage. Luneth and Chizuru lasted maybe two turns and then spent the rest of it dead while Noctis and friend Noctis carved away. Could've also helped if I brought something to remove Disease though. Apparently tents don't.
The extra +5% Atk on Noctis puts him at 795 Atk on Diabolos. Yay.
So, Abraxas is basically the Two-Headed Dragon, right? Maybe a couple of changes here and there. Instead of Magic Bite he has something called "Aurora Bite" which hits super hard, and I think it's Light element because Luka resisted it.
The problem I had, and what I feel eventually killed me, is that in the first turn he used "Dragon Voice", which the Two-Headed Dragon only used if you hit him with an ability. But I didn't do ability damage, I used some buffing abilities, but didn't target him with any abilities. The only thing I can think of is that it uses the same name but functions differently and he's supposed to use it anyway?
Now I have to do the whole damn ELT dungeon again and it takes a looooong time. Didn't help that the Noctis friend I brought was using a Chirjiraden and most of the bosses were resistant to it. He was also using Ifrit, which meant his Point Warp ability basically healed no HP or MP.
The mini-monsters aren't that bad. My ~790 Noctis plus a ~830 Noctis (Ifrit) plus ~650 Luneth were enough to take them down in two to three rounds with Refia's Encourage. They did do significant damage though, so I did go through a few Turbo Ethers on Refia healing up between fights, as well as on CoD from her Omniveils.
Abaraxas is just a huge asshole all around. He does a ton of damage, blinds people, and breaks your stats. Noctis's LB was a huge boon at the end. Without buffs up (because I had to reraise people), most of the time, they simply didn't survive a second round. CoD had her hands full removing blinds and whatnot as well, but her general resilience kept her alive a lot better than others. Would very highly suggest not letting Chizuru or any other low HP squishy character anywhere near the fight.
Neith (3rd boss, arachnid chick) One shots my whole team unless I put up both Focus + Omniveil.
And I'm stacking HP materia, everyone has 5000-7000 max HP.
Dragon does comparable damage in my experience, so if you can survive her bullshit you should be able to clear it.

Abraxas down in 3 rounds. That wasn't bad. Other bosses were mostly 2 rounded and didn't do all that much, except that one boss who hit Cecil with a single target wind attack for 4200 (thankfully, he has 7k hp). Cecil took most of the damage from most of the bosses as their sole round of attacks just bounced off him.
Ling got to cure the party of statuses twice and restored some mana otherwise, saving me from having to elixir. Only ended up using 5 Mega Ethers, a few regular Ethers, and a Tent.
Abraxas keeps taking me out. It doesn't seem his like Release casts are hp-related. I'm taking a lot more damage for some reason than the first attempt, as well.

Finally took that dragon down. He did Release, took one turn for normal attacks and then did release again, which killed all my damage units. I was able to get Greg and Noctfriend up with Refia and fortunately he spent the next turn wailing on Cecil, so they were able to kill him. That fight was a nightmare.
I really like having a strong, nonelemental katana on Greg. Finishing Sakurafubuki was a big plus.
Got Abraxas down to 1/3rd health before he went nuts and just chomped my whole team. Was my fault, I forgot to refresh my buffs. Gonna try again later, too much of a slog to try again right away.
