Phew, beat Abraxis on ELT. +15% ATK and Blade Mastery get!

Randi has some nice bulk (and innate physical dodge which saved me a few times) and does some silly damage to Abraxas. There were two times, after getting Abraxas to <1/3 health, where Ling + Refia were the only survivors of Release (which he used two turns in a row) but they were able to revive and heal everyone enough to the point where Cecil survived as well. From there it was a round of healing, then reset buffs, and then finally kill the damn thing. I was pretty damn sure I wasn't going to get it, but in the end I chained two Randi limits to beat him in style.
Now to replace the Chiz I used the trust moogle on with...another Chiz, so Randi can also get in on the Blade Mastery train.

Pulled a second Cupid Artemios to go with the 3x Cupid Lunas so far this event. Happy that it's going to make the TM farming for both of them go much quicker.
I have three Chizurus. I think three blade masteries will be pretty nice. One for Chiz, one for Agrias, and one for TGCid if I ever get him. Also nice to have lucked my way into three Zidanes as well. And in the far far away when Randi gets his enhancements I'll have Doublehand waiting for him.
Well, I did beat Abraxas. Only issue is that because I was worried about running out of resources, I didn't beat two of the bosses, and am missing two of the chests. Now, I could just say fuck it, because I'm not exactly short on 6* mats, but I am a completionist at heart.
The best part is is that I got the Trust Moogle. Now, if I get the Trust Moogle from the Fat Chocobo (which would use almost all my Star Quartz) and get the 70k Candy Moogle I'll have enough Moogles to dump into my Zidane and get a Dualwield!

I was thinking about this too, but decided to pass for at least a while. Any really rough content, I'd only plan on a dedicated support, white mage, and tank, leaving only two slots for DPSes.
On the other hand though, it feels kind of weird sort of seeing a semi-end in sight for the TMR farm. And that's with looking ahead a bit. There's just really not that many particularly good TMRs in the known future on anything but 5* characters.

I cleared March of the Beasts which has a really subpar reward for the time it takes.
I also went through and beat March of the Beasts. Only after I had did I notice that the CoD I brought was wearing no equipment beyond her Thorned Mace (I stripped her equipment for Randi). I mean, most of her time was spent using utility skills, but now I know why her barrages felt especially weak.
Snow finally finished and I have my Champion's Belt; now to wait for Firion's 6*.
I've got two Jacks working on Rikku's limit generators, and replaced Snow and anyone else that finishes with Ingus' working on Letter's and Arms for Ashe / Terra.
I'm sitting on 90 tickets and a generous pile of TMs waiting for units to come out...
I just grabbed the 70k moogle. Got everything on the list but the axe. I don't have a Mercedes, is it worth it to grab the axe? What units would use it?
I have a Dual Wield now! Currently it's on Yun, as he's my strongest attacker.
My brother continues to be the most lucky person I've seen. He got Randi last week and pulled Marie yesterday. I told him that if he gets Orlandu and I don't I'm going to disown him. Not really, but you know. Maybe.
A surprisingly large number of units can use Axes, just not the mega-5*-dps units (except Greg, probably.) Agrias, Cecil, Firion, WoL, etc.
The axe is probably more worth it than the 70k moogle just because it's a high-ATK weapon you don't need to TM farm for.
Ehh. There's two free axes that are nearly as good. One we supposedly should've gotten with the latest story update, but I'm not seeing it on the treasure list. The other comes with the FF2 event which we should be getting any week now. It trades the SPR and is 76 Atk (vs 85) but has +15% HP instead.

I cleared out all my cactuars because I got sick of them cluttering up my inventory. Come on, game. Give me an Orlandeau and make me regret it.
Also, I tried seeing what Luneth would max out on attack if he got all the TMRs instead of Noctis. Disappointingly, he lost by 6 Atk (835 vs 841). Poor Luneth. Your enhancements will come someday.
When buying daily bundles, triple check that you're buying tbe right one. Because I apparently bought the Randi's Special Bundle instead of buying the Box of Chocolate Bundle. So now I'm under 20k Lapis, which means ones less 11 pull when Orlandu comea out. And I have no more story quests to bring my Lapis back up.
I can only hope Orlandu is held up enough for new story quests and/or events to give me more Lapis. I'm the worst
Given what most people are saying about the timeline till Orlandu, I'm sure if you avoid 1/2 pulls and get the daily quest lapis and the arena lapis, you should get back above two 11 pulls in no time.
Yeah, you can get 100 lapis a day, plus any rank ups and other "income," so you can recoup it before Orlandu hits. And now you have plenty of ways to awaken him, assuming you get him. Assuming you don't get troll rainbows, which seriously dampen my desire to pull hard for him.
As for the VD event, I spaced out my playing to help spread out the daily quests, and today beat it. His Release attack is pretty brutal, but I was able to bounce back. This is the second time I've had a hard fight that, with the boss at about 30%, I had all my guys healed 90% or more, no status ailments, and with fresh buffs. It's a really good feeling considering it's usually deaths and close calls beforehand! ELT wouldn't be so bad if it was JUST the dragon, although I guess using a tent makes it essentially JUST the dragon. RNGesus has blessed me with a Noctis and Gilg a while back so that does help.
I did a fair bit of Gigantaur farming, but they all went to finishing off 6* Mercedes. Whoops. I only recently pulled a Firion and he's 3*, so there's a long way to go there.
Same here. Though I don't really have the TMR's to make him a powerhouse anyways. I suppose I could drop the 3K lapis for the 'Randi Special' to use for him.
Looks like Snow and Xiao just got bumped up in my farming priority. But then again, I'm not sure if I'll use Firion in the long run. Maybe I should just continue getting everything I want to get for Agrias/TGCid and Randi, and make Firion a distant goal.
That's my main issue, I don't plan on using anyone else that will benefit greatly from the Champion's Belt or Xiao's fist, so it would be farming two TMRs that really only Firion would use.
I'm guessing the next banner is going to include firion and maria... so the question is who else?
It's a good question, since the banner originally included Marie, who we got early. It may be the same, sans-Marie, since two units who are both 3* bases and exist in the game already would be on it, to give people more reason to pull. It does seem like GL has been focusing on only one 5* base per banner for a while now.
It feels too early for Firion to be getting his upgrades. WoL and Garland haven't even gotten theirs yet, right?
If Firion's getting 6*, that means Guy, Emperor and Leon are new units, with Emperor being a 5* unit who's fairly equal to Exdeath, with the best MAG rod in the game as a TMR. Emperor trades Meteor and magic killer passives for a similar AOE ability (can't be dualcast) and an interesting 200% damage single target Fire ability that gains 200% damage with successive uses, up to 2000%. He also gets native 10% MP Refresh.

Marie is on the current one. Maria is like an archer/healer in FFBE.
