Getting put in your secondary role and watching someone take your main champ and make the dumbass mistakes you used to when you started playing them (Vi diving in alone/way too far ahead of team for follow-up and dying), costing you the chance to close out the game you're ahead in multiple times... this is a very painful way to lose.
My problem is Zyras that think they are initiators and don't just murder people who come at them. Support zyras who want 2v2 murderlanes but forget that everyone but sona has more health.
Yeah, I mean, you can initiate with Zyra, but it's like initiating with a Morg binding. You are just locking someone down so that the rest of your team can blow them up. You aren't a front line getting in the shit kind of character
Zyra is the queen of the counter initiate to me. When they force a fight you drop some plants and your strangethorn. Now they are no longer happy with having forced that fight
Zyra is great in that she's so versatile, amazing at counter initiate, and good at throwing the kitchen sink at the enemy with an initiate too.
I used to love watching those C9 comps with Ashe/Zyra where they'd just counter initiate every fight until they had built a gold lead they were happy with, then use the same comp to tower dive if necessary to win objectives.
I played Viktor for the first time last night. One of the games was against a Kassadin. Is Kass underpowered? Or was this Kass just an idiot? As soon as he ulted at me or I thought he was going to, I would drop my Gravity thing at me feet. If he did ult in, I would E,Q, Auto,R and then back off ASAP and he would die like 90% of the time.
Once I had my first Hextech upgrade and my Sheen I would basically instantly pop him.

Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.

Sounds like a newbie, or someone who doesn't know how to dial it back when they're behind. Kass is really strong but I don't think he's very easy. I only see Kassadins (in my games) occasionally and it's always been some Kassadin master riftwalking all over the place popping fools like balloons.
Kassadin is a solid champ into that matchup. If he was using R to gap close on a Viktor who had his W up, that tells you pretty much everything you need to know about that Kassadin's level of experience with that matchup, heh.
I have it and I played the first mission! It's pretty good! The starting rules aren't too complex, and it looks like it's gonna introduce more stuff at a good pace. It has very little in common with actual League, which is kind of the point.
Also you don't put anything on the player character pieces so you can use pretty much anything that's not a minion as a game piece (as long as it fits on the board).
The production values on the gameset are through the roof. I was initially turned away by the price, but damn if it isn't a MUCH better value than something like Warhammer. inside jokes, easter eggs and helmet bro can all easily be found.
Now you have to wait until May if you didnt order one :biggrin:

Well, it's not the real Magma Chamber. Technically you could also count that 1v1 All-star map back from Season...3ish? 4? (I don't really care to look it up.) So it's a comment on continuing disappointment.

Wow, FLY/NV ended, and I went from watching incredibly crisp shotcalling from Hai utterly controlling the game and swapped over to the other stream in time to see CLG make the worst baron call I've seen in .. a while.

I got one for championship kallista and I don't have any plans or desire to play her. But converting the skin to was hard even for a firefighter Tristana skin.

No, I'm distracted by irl concerns and I need to play normals until I'm convinced that playing ranked isn't going to just involve me losing due to inattention.
Don't want this to be like season 5 where I just constantly played ranked on tilt/distracted and never got to gold and accrued a lot of frustration to boot.
My problem with ranked is that I have no interest in "maining" anything. If I play the same champ three times in a row I start getting really bored and looking around for something new to do.

I solved this by playing a completely different game in between Jhin rounds. And LOTS of ARAM.

I was enjoying try-harding in ranked but my last 5 ranked games were either off-role or Vi banned, then I went away for a week. When I came back my wife was super tilted - she's been trying to play 2 ranked games a day and climbed B4>B3 while I was gone then got slammed back with a LLLLWLLLL streak. Of course she plays a part in her losses but she's had some really bad luck - B4 is a tough place to be support. Between that and never getting to play Vi (even in normals I can't get her most of the time) ranked just hasn't been appealing. So I've been playing ARAMs and working on my chests in normals, and it's been pretty darn fun. I wanna try to get all my chests this season and so far I'm on track :]
My problem with ranked is that I have no interest in "maining" anything. If I play the same champ three times in a row I start getting really bored and looking around for something new to do.
Although it's sub-optimal, I'm not sure this is really a problem.
Edit: For instance, at the pro level, you have Faker who often just plays whatever.
