im sad sfxt turned out the way it did, because its probably the best ive ever been performance-wise

and it ended up in a pretty good spot imo but by the time we got there the damage was already done and nobody wanted to play

pre-patch sfxt had pretty big problems, but post-patch it was amazing

I still never liked how the combos had them tagging in and out so rapidly. It's one of the reasons I'm wary of the new Marvel.

I want to be using a character and not swapping rapidly. Tags should mean something and not be rapid.

I acknowledge that the above is more a stylistic / system complaint.

X-Men vs. Street Fighter didn't have assists and that was fun enough at the time. MSHvSF did have them but they were slow and not as useful.

I'm hoping MVCI will be more free-form. Like somewhere between MVC3 and TTT2.

I'm actually pretty excited about the specific ways in which they're dumbing it down. 2-char teams + no canned assists + infinity gems? Heck yeah, let's do it.

the thailand stage and a set of costumes are coming with a patch on April 25th

it was thought that the patch would also update CFN but they haven't specified that. they also say that there will be "more content" that hasn't been announced yet in April.

i might try tekken, i saw it at NCR and thought "this looks doable"

I tried DOA3 briefly (its free) a few months ago to try out a 3D fighter and had absolutely no concept of what was going on though

I am garrrrrrbage at 3d fighters and I was pretty turned off of tekken tag 2 because retaining multiple characters in fighting games is kind of hard for me but t7 has a lot of dudes I like/want to try

I don't even care about CFN anymore. They've been dangling that carrot for well over a year now and it has officially lost its effect on me. On the other hand, they can release the interactive version of Air Force Base any fucking day now.
