As a sidenote, is there any good way to take a screenshot with Steam Link/Controller? I happened to have a wireless keyboard plugged in too, so I could take the shot, but I couldn't figure that out.
If you are playing a game that just has basic controls, you can reprogram either one of the underside grip buttons to be a screenshot button. That's how I do it.

Thanks @UseR2006 for Pony Island! Didn't think much of it until I heard it being talked about during Giant Bomb GOTY deliberations and it sounded really neat. Thanks, can't wait to play it!
@Undead Scottsman - congrats! You get any game you want, up to cost of $100. It can even be a board game or something if you're okay with sharing your address with me.

Finished up Ting Bang Story, which is basically a HOB game. Didn't quit realize that going into it. All those newer ones have been spoiling me. TBS says, "You want a hint baby? Fine, how about you click on these bugs for a few minutes, then I'll let you have a hint. It was cute, but a bit pixel hunt heavy. Also finished up Midnight Mysteries 3 which while the first two Midnight Mysteries weren't the best HOB games ever, they seem to have slipped a bit in their third release. But still had some of the zany charm, which is actually kind of like liking a cheesy bad movie that has some good bits. What else...played all of Hitman last night. Was up real late keeping an eye on a corner of our house making sure it didn't flood. So I made my way through all the main Hitman missions. That was a real good time. But another game meant for replays in a time when I probably wont do that right away. But still good times were had, people were murdered. Then in my early morning haze debating whether or not it was safe to sleep (the rain would always have a surge right as I was thinking about it), I fired up Secret of the Magic Crystals.
I think I'm going to cut bait on that one. Don't think I have it in me to finish it up. Too much of the game consists of just clicking a button and waiting like a minute or two for your horse to go off and come back. Way too sleepy for that, not enough going on to keep me playing that till the end.
Today I played through Shank because I was in the mood for a button mashy action beat-em-up, and it delivered that pretty well. It;s got some questionable material in there, but I did enjoyed the shooting and stabbing all the way through.
Anyone familiar with a Steam user named Clockwork Pudding? Had a friend request but I see nothing on the profile to indicate it's a) someone I know from elsewhere or b) one of you lot. No mutual friends that I can see, but I know I don't have all of you.
Now that I'm into it a little ways I can safely say that (perhaps unsurprisingly since it's the sequel) Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is a better game than Transformers: War for Cybertron. No coop, but the bots all actually feel different, and the levels are way more varied.

Woof. Sorry I'm sucking for the backlog challenge, guys. Work is absorbing most of my free time, my wife not feeling well is taking the rest, and it seems like the only thing I can find the motivation to do is a Paint it Back frame every now and again.

Luckily, Paint it Back has a finite amount of puzzles/an "ending", if it's anything like the mobile version.

Oh wow. I'll have to think about this.
Sadly, my board game group kinda evaporated so it'll probably be something on Steam.

The rubber coating on the sides of my MX518 has degraded into a sticky mess. Gross!
Which is a damn shame because I loved that mouse.
I remember when I first got it all those years ago. The two buttons on the side blew my mind once I learned I could map them for gaming.
But at least it has been replaced by a worthy successor.
The G403 Prodigy!
Excuse the hideous mouse pad.
The pink lights I set it to make me want to pick up Fallout Out 4 from where I left it. I might play a bit this weekend. Just a bit.
Hopefully I can resist the temptation of settlement building. I don't know why I spend so much time on this part of the game. All my creations look like crap!
But once all of that is done, then it's time jump right back into DOOM! I've been neglecting this baby for too long.
EDIT: God I did a quick look for anime themed mouse pads and most of them were those sculpted boob ones. Why can't just normal ones like a picture of Gurren Lagann or something
E2: Actually maybe I should hold out on getting a new mouse pad in case there's a Mass Effect one when the new game is released.
Left in the Dark: No One On Board - a murder mystery sort of thing, where you're sent to figure out why ships occasionally lose all of their crew and cargo and incidentally help a friendly ghost get vengeance on them what done her wrong. Not very long (3 hours if you stretched it) and really easy, even for an Artifex Mundi HOG. There's a couple of spots where I suspect they intended to add puzzles but maybe ran out of budget or development time.
Tibetan Quest: Beyond the World's End - the dark side of "hey, these things are all coded in eastern Europe and sometimes they don't get the best translators", this one was super frustrating because many of the objects you have to find aren't named what you'd expect them to be named.
For example: If you know what a draisine is without needing to google it, I am impressed.
It's a railway handcar
It also commits the cardinal sin of HOGs, that of having multiple items in the same scene that are ALL, for example, butterflies, but some of the butterflies are just scenery and the one you're supposed to click on is the jeweled butterfly brooch thing.
So I don't recommend it. It was, at least, a super easy game to get 100% achievements on if that's something you look for.

Embrace the boob sculpts. They're good for your wrists, and they promote better heart health for being so provocative!

Alternately, if boobs aren't your thing, there are similar ones with Genji's sculpted ass instead.

That's fantastic. I have had a desire to start playing Binding of Isaac (original) but want to use my controller. Literally too lazy to figure out Joy2Key and have been playing other games.

Hello Folks! Our Backlog Challenge has been underway for the entire weekend and holy shit are you guys digging in and knocking things out. Benji is still in the lead, but Chrissy and Phileas are both tearing up the charts as well. Later this week i'll be adding even more bonus objectives, so everyone keep your eyes out for that post for even more stuff to find.
Also Diablo3 is working really hard to stop me from playing anything else from my backlog.
CorriganX on Steam and just about everywhere else.

Subject matter doesn't really appeal to me with Ladykiller in a Bind although I trust Christine Love to handle it well. I am super intrigued by the conversation system though. Sounds a bit like the portions of Oxenfree that I saw with options disappearing if you took too long to choose them and being replaced with more relevant ones.

That only works if you're playing in Big Picture Mode, which most people don't I'd assume.
Original question was about Steam Link, so that's what I assumed.
But yeah, that is the caveat.
Ah. I am not aware of the requirements for running the Steam Link. If that's a requirement then yeah, Guide+RT would totally work.
I would say its my favorite game in the Hitman series and one of my favorite games I've played in 2016 (and 2017).
Thanks to everyone who recommended it in the chat.
It was my prize for the charity giveaway - anyone who donated over $100 was entered. So he's earned it :P
