Restart seemed to have done the trick. I was able to play a few more bits after that. I'm pretty amazed at how much I enjoy these Transformers games. Licensed games aren't supposed to be good!
I've got some more fiddling to do with settings though. When gameplay audio seems good, cutscene audio is nearly silent. And I may have to ratchet down from high to medium graphics, but whatever - I'm having a good time.
Also, has anybody played these games before? Because playing through them after having seen all of the Michael Bay Transofmers movies (because I'm a bad person with bad taste) these feel related (specifically, Drift's design seems to match that of Age of Extinction and the intro takes place on Earth and then in the second level I'm playing as Decepticons on Cybertron and everything looks just like it did in Fall of Cybertron.).
Rise of the Dark Spark was made by a different studio. It's a bit buggy from what I understand and they did use Bayformer designs for some of it. I liked the first two although they seemed a bit short. I haven't tried the third because of the negative reviews.
So great to be jumping to 5 year old mid tier card from 10 year old integrated graphics.
I can actually run Mad Max again, (though I'm sure my processor is holding things back)
But I started some older games for the backlog challenge, so I need to finish them first before I can see the glory of better graphics. Guess I'll have a second backlog challenge after this one.
How about the joke for 2017 is that we support indie developers by giving away good games.
Theres gotta be a couple for around a buck you can toss around.
It will be all "Ha ha I gave you this cheap yet quality game. Enjoy that suckers! No really, enjoy it."
Anyone want a copy of Stardust Vanguards?
to be clear I'm actually asking here, I'm not sure if it has anything other than local play so I didn't wanna just like, put up a giveaway without knowing if anyone would be able to use it

I'm enjoying it so far, but it's hard to recommend a game that gave me a blue screen. But really, it's hard to go wrong with any game that has a "press X to deploy Laserbeak" prompt.
"I know you've been online.... There are lots of people that don't have that voice, that makes them ask themselves if what they make is shit or not." [img][/img]
Shadow Warrior 2 complete! Wow, fantastic gameplay. I do love me some looting (and crafting) in my shooting (and slashing) and Shadow Warrior 2 did not disappoint. I started skipping cutscenes to avoid the terrible character models and repellent dialogue and that helped focus on the delicious diving into a big pile of demons and slicing and zipping about.
Thank you so much for Shadow Warrior 2 last sale, @EriktheVikingGamer! This was a real treat.
I watched Team Four Star play about an hour of this game and it looks phenomenal.
The Narrator is the crowning gem of the whole experience.
Stamper is the glue that held Battleblock Theater together, on top of being an incredible voice actor and all-around funny bloke. Definitely going to keep an eye on this one.
I finished Va-11 Hall-a: Cyberpunk Bartender Action.
Even though im irresponsible manchild in love with fictional worlds, sometimes i like to watch or read some slice of life about normal people trying to deal with their problems. Va-11 Hall-a is excatly that - it has Cyberpunk in a name, but it's less about a setting, and more about Cool People talking about interesting things to each other, and helping each other when someone needs some emotional support.
It's one of these stories that makes me feel some emptiness after finishing: it was definitely good and I enjoyed getting to know all those characters (except for all those dogs. Honestly, this joke stopped being funny after first time), but now im sad that it's over, and will need few days until this strange feeling of melancholy leaves me.
In my opinion - 9/10 story (some themes could be explored more, some themes could have been deleted alltogether), and i would happily buy some sequel. Seriously, what's the matter with Gil?

That game was so cool when it came out. Too bad that apparently some of the skills in your characters' skill trees were useless/didn't work.
Fantastic game. Destructible terrain opened up so much gameplay. Sure you could go for the rifle shot through the wood wall, or you could use delicious explosives and just collapse the second floor from under them.
Real mid-game spoiler:
Shame about the mechs showing up halfway through. Terribly unbalanced near infinite bullet sponges.

Squad management was also super satisfying.
I never made it very far in the game myself, and never got to experience the part of the game that apparently everyone hates. I think I had more fun reading people's battle tales on this forum.

I'd forgotten about those. Need to look to balance mods.
It's also rather telling about this game's research that the allies have one native American character and an African American character who's a former Harlem hellfighter. Meanwhile, they also have a korean character whose background concerns comfort women in Korea.
That's the no wish list thing working as intended. I ditched it about a year back when I realized it had become a repository for games I kinda maybe sorta might want. And I feel like I've been coming out ahead when people shoot me games they really enjoyed instead. It gets me to play stuff I probably wouldn't otherwise and I usually discover that it's a well loved game for good reason.

PIXIE! NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
I made it so far under the radar I was starting to think I'd get all the way. Fortunately I prepared a contingency plan.
*deploys chaff*

Not everyone from Australia is a Tasmanian.
Thanks!
I'm happy only Corrigan knows my birthday here. Makes it safer.
It is NOT Pixie season, @Spoit!
But thanks for Hell Girls. I am intrigued by a match-3 that's more strategic than time-sensitive.
I guess you could do some editing/cropping directly in imgur, true.

You "think"? You have not played Arcanum? Remedy this oversight, sir! This game is a freaking gem.
Yeah, that one's high in my on my list of missed games. Heard many good things.

Somebody stop him he's gone stark raving mad!
Totally a gem, but with some deep flaws and sharp edges
Took me 20 minutes longer because I could not remember which alien mcguffin was needed to unlock the end game deus ex machina.
I mean, I had already used the other two mcguffins to knock out their power, but this was the simplest route.

This is me with Psychonauts.
Did you guys know Psychonauts is super good? Of course you did, because I am the last person ever to play it.

For people who have finished it.
HOLY (doge) CRAP! Thank you!
It was fucking great, wasn't it? Did you do all the secret stuff?
Not errything. Still missing a handful of tickets, I think. I'll probably have to find a walkthrough to get them all.
There is a steam community post that does a good job listing the hidden stuff. Let me see if I can find it... I think this is the one I used.
