This is Tube hello. From now on no full comics should be posted in this thread. It isn't fair to the creators. Please post these rules at the top of any webcomics thread.

1. A link must be provided to any comic posted
2. Any image posted alongside it cannot be the full image. It should be some sort of crop or preview. Don't be a dick about this, I am in no mood.
3. If you don't want your comic posted here, contact pgroome@penny-arcade.com and he'll make sure it doesn't

The Devil's Panties is filmed in front of a Portland studio audience.

Also the artist for Tomo-chan has been using his vacation time to sketch a Twitter picture of Tomo's tomos. (not exactly NSFW, but standards for what's S at your W may vary)

The "let them make their own mistakes in a game" approach? Yeah, seems reasonable, it teaches them to pay closer attention.

The firetruck comic on the last page of the old thread reminded me that Skyrim does not have the souls trapped in black soul gems screaming from the items you enchant them with.

Real lack of gravitas from ripping the soul out of someone and forging it in a sword.

They weren't doing anything important with that soul anyway.

On the other hand, players who hide important rules or how mechanics work when you're still learning a game in order to give themselves an edge can go get stuffed.

They are more interested in winning than teaching.

True, but in the case the comic presents that's not the case. The abilities of Rey weren't hidden from him, he need only read.

Oh no, I definitely find no fault with the comic. I haven't played Star Wars Destiny but I imagine there are a number of characters you can use and Gabe was quick to point out where his son needed to look to learn about his mistake. It does not appear to even be the first game so his son is probably already familiar with character powers but didn't see it/forgot to utilize it.

The first time I played Agricola, I had a grand old time, except that at the end of the game the guy who was teaching us pulled out the scoring sheet.

He had never explained to us how to score points the entire time we played.

Upperclassman became less of a height gag as we got to know him more and he became more of a person to us. His height is still a defining trait but there's a lot more to him now, and so he's fully in frame most of the time.

I'm fine with losing a gag if we gain a character in the process. We still have everyone else's reactions to him, and those are always fun to see. Because now we've gotten used to him but these people who are just meeting him are still seeing the "out of frame" version. They're basically us and how silly we were back then before we got to know him.

I think it'd be neat if we only saw his head when we are with people who know him, but people meeting him for the first time see him with the shaded face.

What's important here is that the new guy is taller than the Upperclassman, and therefore proof that the world in Their Story has no upper bounds on human's height.
