Attrition
Bounty hunt
Hard point
Last Titan Standing
Capture the flag
Pilots vs Pilots (team deathmatch)
The Coliseum
And now live fire

Four out of eight modes feature Titans
Amped Hard Point is a funny mode , because I'd say more often than not being in a Titan isn't any good; i.e. you're better off calling your Titan down and leaving it on auto or even hoping it gets destroyed so you can get another boost.
You rarely can contest a point directly as a Titan by standing on it, while there are a bunch of points you can't even cover or get an angle to shoot at.
I've lost count the number of times I've seen one team absolutely cruising to victory in Hard Point, only to see that team lose, because all the players are in their Titans, but don't want to get out to actually (re)cap a point.
Double XP Weekend tip: use your Happy Hour bonus only in Live Fire, as that's the only mode that has double XP. You'll get 10 instead of 5, then go back to playing the mode you want to play if Live Fire isn't your thing.
While I agree that being insensitive is an issue, so is being oversensitive.
Wow, they made Colosseum a brand new loadout. Softball, Wingman Elite, Gravity Star, Phase Shift. Fuuuuuuuuuck that bring back my rocket dueling.
Woah... people still play that mode? I guess to each their own, but I have damn near 100 tickets and 0 desire to play it. In fact, receiving another ticket is worse than getting nothing. I'd prefer if I could cash each ticket in for a single credit. That's how little I care about Colosseum.
Hold the friggin' phone here. They put a pistol in the Colosseum? Sooooo... it basically just becomes pistol sudden death? Why use anything else? Fox only, no items, final destination.
I have over 150 Colosseum tickets and I was really hoping they'd just put an exchange rate on them, 10 tickets for 1 actual gift would be something I'd take in a heartbeat.
Let me tell you about the time I did a Colosseum match and my gift was credits. Boy was I not happy about that.
Live fire seems really fun. Short, brutal, and intense af. The feeling of being the last person alive and making a mad dash for the flag with a few seconds left is like whoa. I'm going make a cloak/shotgun/Mozambique class and just run up on fools later which should be amusing. The new matchmaking mixtape thing is also super great.

I dunno... I'm not half bad with a softball. If you can maintain some distance, I don't think the pistol would be a clear cut winner.

I'll have to do some testing when I have time.
It's going to be full retard on PC. Wingman Elite is a 1 headshot kill with basically perfect hipfire accuracy.
Because I've bitched about the mode, I have to be fair and say that I had a fun game just now while getting my 10-merit Happy Hour bonus. I was doing kind of okay, but on the last game of the match, we were getting our ass kicked. I saw the flag carrier running the walls, shot him down, grabbed the flag and proceeded to run around like a spider monkey on meth, being chased around the whole map by 3 enemy pilots. That's when I realized I was the only member of my team alive, which put me in panic mode. I evaded then (still not sure how) and pulled a victory for the team.
I'd say this is more entertaining than Pilot-vs-Pilot.

Okay, Youtube doesn't allow for a frame-by-frame granularity. But the score jumps to 402 v 401 at somewhere between 0.22 and 0.18 seconds left in the game.

Well this is a bummer. My TF2 campaign save decided to somewhat disappear, the "continue" option not being available from the campaign menu. While pissing around trying to fix this, I managed to click the new game button. So now the entire save has disappeared and I can no longer even select the start of the mission I was previously on.
Man I had a crazy round of live fire last night where I had more kills than the entire other team combined. Felt real good. Of course I also had rounds where our entire team combined had like 4 kills so I guess it balances out.
The only reason I'm ever in the top half of the scoreboard is for flag carries. I suck at pilot vs pilot. Gimme a Titan and I'll kick you to next week, though.

So I played a bit of this after the patch (only a bit, as my time is limited) and I will say that the Hemlock and the Devotion are nowhere near as prevalent as they once were.
I also didn't see one Tone, which I found to be incredibly odd, because I still think she's a pretty good Titan. You can tell that her gun has been nerfed when it comes to Pilots, because the gun is nowhere near as generous as it once was with regards to hitting and killing a pilot, and obviously the pulse getting a longer cooldown is also a nerf, but I don't see all of that as a reason for people to not pick her.
I will say that the MGL seems to have taken a big nerf; it seems to fire slower (I don't know if this is the case), but you can certainly tell its projectile speed has been decreased. You have to put in a bunch more effort than you used to.
I still prefer it for my anti Titan weapon, becuase you can be difficult to track down when you're fighting a Titan. The Archer rocket launcher and the charge rifle both give away your position, and it seems like the MGL fills your Titan meter pretty fast

The splash damage radius was total crap before, so it's good that a nerf was performed. I can easily see that as a reason why people run it less: it's not as easy as before, and people tend to enjoy easy.

Just to be clear, I am in perfect agreement with the spash damage radius being very unfair. I'm just curious as to what Titan(s) people have switched to if they find Tone "too hard".

Pretty much hanging out on Scorch and Ronin... mostly because they're the only Titans I find interesting to play. Northstar once in a while, map depending.
I'm finding the "meta" (I know.. I don't want to be that guy...) to be pretty stale weapon wise at the moment at least on PS4 outside of primetime (when I play mostly). Lots of G2/Car/R201 when there are a LOT of interesting weapons out there. I'd love softball and other grenadier type weapons to be more viable without having such a ridiculous skill floor/ceiling.

I think it's safe to say that everyone in here is thinking "meta," most of us despising the idea. I've gone from "I'll only play what I'm good at" to "Now that I have that regen'ed that item, what should I play now?" I'm trying new things out now, which means sometimes I'm fucking terrible. I always keep an emergency-ego-boost loadout, just in case I'm in need of a pick-me-up

It's tough, right? I'd love to run a shotgun or epg or something, but it's so hard when I'm getting mashed by very good (and usually gen 7+) players running optimal loadouts.
sometimes the L-Star will shred teams like a swarm of angry laser bees, other times the target pilot pops their anti-gravity star and the laser puffs seem to just not connect

NPC headshots do count for weapon camo though, I think
Some of the time, it's a one hit kill at a decent range
Other times, I'll shoot someone just out of melee range, and it won't kill my enemy
Is this one of the hit scan vs projectile things?

A Northstar that keeps its distance can plink pilots very easily
