    don't worry if you can't do well competitively at first. to do that requires long hours counting stat points and breeding and luck and, above all else, time.

    the single player game takes a while, but if you chill for an hour or two and just level 2 or 3 different guys to a decent point, you should be able to beat it in 40-50 hours.

    GTS: You have to have seen the Pokemon to request it, so no.

    Friend Codes: You can get them, but they won't have Pokedex entries until you upgrade.

    EDIT: As always, Cortex is full of shit.
