Maybe one of you breeder masters can help me out here. I'm trying to mate my level 44 gyrados male with my level 1 bagon female to get a bagon with dragon dance, but the breeder guy says they aren't getting along? Can I fix this?
Not getting along doesn't mean they won't breed, just that it might take awhile.
Hobbes, it would take more effort for me to go and catch you a Gibite and then trade it to you than for you to just go and catch one yourself. I'm not being mean or unfriendly. If I had a Gabite I would trade it to you. However! I don't have a Gabite.
How does everyone have so many starters when people always seem to be asking Dialga for them?
The trick is not to look for them, but ask for them. I put up 2 Misdreavus (Pearl exclusive) and within 5 minutes got both starters I lacked. So you can try that.
Apparently though, the japanese are going ga-ga over ANY pokemon with an english name on it, so you could probably throw up a lv2 Magikarp and get the starters easily as well.

2.) A lot of people on these boards breed starters regularly, and will trade them, often for peanuts, as they are kind souls.

I've been training my Duskull's Defense EVs on Gravellers and Onixes.
I just discovered that Graveller give TWO Defense EVs instead of 1. So my counting's off. The problem is further complicated by the fact that Onix occasionally appear and I attached a Macho brace halfway through.
My current count says 142. Would 179 be a fairly accurate guess at the real number?

So, finally attempting the Battle Tower. On match 15 now, raping faces pretty hard (but its still early, I'll struggle later for sure). That poor Dusclops in match 14 didn't have a chance.

Turnback cave is one of those dungeons that morphs as you go through it so going back will take you to a totally different room that you came from.
It also has an awesome ghost dragon legendary in it that freaked me out when I stumbled past it in the fog.
You know where they are now, you can get one.
