@Handsome Costanza the Breath of the Wild incentive has been met. you can officially look forward to that run now.
What's the run-time down to for that one at this point? Last I heard was sub-hour but I don't recall by how much.
they have the estimate set at 50 minutes right now but i think that was the length of the set up block its replacing so not sure if its the official run estimate.
I wish the Internet wasn't the worst place in the entire world so I could look up some stuff about that dark souls 3 run without a thousand people complaining about trans people being on screen is somehow oppressing them.

It's not the internet, it's people. People are the worst, the internet is simply a tool that shines a light on what's always been there.
Edit: I realize this is a bit pedantic but I just really wanted to use the phrase "shines a light on what's always been there".
Finally a series of runs I've been looking forward to coming up that I can actually watch live. Gonna have so much to catch up in the next couple of weeks.

Ugh, I hate Kaizo / Panga(?) bullshit. Totally ruined Mario Maker.
looks like the Portal 2 run is the solo co-op run by Azorae. i think someone mentioned that being cut early in the week, so if you were looking forward to it you get another chance.
I can't even fathom the reaction time needed to play Kazio hacks.
I think it's probably less reaction time and more muscle memory. You pretty much need to know exactly what to do so you can't really be 'reacting' to stuff (you will fail the first dozen times).

I hate playing Mario 64, it's the worst Mario game ever. And yet I love watching speedrunners play it because the movement control is legit.
I was going to challenge this, but I think you might be right. Even accounting for personal opinion (I really liked Sunshine) it's in the bottom five I think, and only balanced out by a handful of New Super Mario Bros games, which are also pretty good on their own.
Mario is a damned good series.

I mean, when I say it's the worst, that has to come with the understanding (from myself and others) that it was Nintendo's first go at a 3D Mario game, let alone it's a 3D platformer which were silly for a couple console gens (not limited to just Nintendo as a developer).

to be fair Mario 64 was a tremendous first effort and the game holds up a lot better than most games from that era.

I remembered that when I bought a new fancy 1080 p monitor, I just put my old one downstairs. Realizing the wasted opportunity, I brought it back up and set it up as a second monitor.
A great way to enjoy the end of the marathon while also gaming myself. I feel proud of this incredibly simple and obvious idea.

What a total shitbiscuit
Some of them are extremely entertaining. This hack actually seems to be one of them.
Also, the puns DEAR GOD
Link? Or was it something referenced during the run?
