SOLVED: Bad page element keeps loading then unloading, posts move up/down on page

I think I was able to click the post in question in order to grab a link to it. when I brought up an HTML viewer and hid this post, the problem went away:

Seems likely.

When I open the page with Firefox (Desktop), the twitch link embeds fine.
When I open the page with Chrome mobile (android), the link does not embed, but does not shift the size of the reply up/down.

Problem only occurs for me in Chrome desktop.

This seems to indicate that it's on the Twitch's side of things, specifically with the flash player embed in Chrome; which implies that this is unrelated to vanilla forums software


Frustrating as an end user, but not something wrong w/ the PA setup. Will see if I can pull advice out of the link above and post it in this thread in case someone else runs into it down the road.

We've had a few things like this where it's turned out to be a problem with Chrome. It doesn't play nice with a lot of social media embeds.
