I sound like an angry duck when I walk

I have brown leather shoes and one of them has started to "quack" for about a week now and shoes no signs of going away by itself. I was think of spraying some PAM inbetween the sole and the shoe but I don't want to smell like fried chicken.

Any ideas?

buy new shoes? honestly sounds like they're worn out somewhere or something has become detached - not sure, based upon your description, how one might solve a quacking shoe.

but they're only a couple months old. I'm hoping that if I wear them in more it will go away. But the problem remains that I sound like a duck until that day arrives

There's stuff that's specifically for leather shoes. You should be able to find it in any large department store. Smelling like Pam is worse than sounding like a duck.

    Lets not hate on ducks.

I had this same problem, it even persisted through differnet shoes, and always my left foot. Come to find out, it was the way my heel was hitting the ground. I can't really describe it, but I tried walking with my feet a little more straight out, and it went away. Now I do it without thinking.

Maybe try seeing if its something like that?

hrm interesting... walk like a duck, sound like a duck? lol

only a couple months old makes me think it's the way you walk, combined with however they're put together... come to think of it, when my shoes are wet and I walk on linoleum they make a quacking sound - might be similar to your problem
