Freedom Planet 2
I stopped reading this post at the point it loaded at, so as far as I'm concerned you have just announced that you are Lilac the Dragon Girl.
Which is pretty cool, tbh.
I got to play this at pax south! It is in fact the only video game I played
It's awesome
Russian Subway Dogs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JP6wyRF_vY
They were letting people play the endless mode which is just the core gameplay loop you see here (outside of the bears, I didn't live long enough for that) except after a certain score your health starts constantly draining so you can't slow down getting food. It was pretty fun to play and according to the card will have the corgis from Vallhalla in it.
Pizza Titan Ultra is a game that doesn't even have a proper trailer out apparently, there are some gameplay clips on their twitter if you like. You play a giant robot/pizza shop and make deliveries. Problem with that is there are people with an army of tanks and helicopters who do not want you to deliver said pizza. It's a real arcadey action game with boost strips and literal floating cash and by the time the pizza is delivered you may have caused more property damage than the Avengers. You can customize your pizza robot with different parts sets and a color picker. It has a pretty decent art style to it's talking heads for the story stuff, It's not pulling a 100 ft Robot Golf and trying to look directly inspired by certain shows/era. Also once you reach your destination you rocket punch your hand through the wall of their apartment and have to try and park your fist within the fist outline for a bigger tip.
Super Galaxy Squadron EX Turbo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFU40BzKdQE
From looking it up it appears Super Galaxy Squadron EX Turbo is an expansion to Super Galaxy Squadron EX which is an expansion to Super Galaxy Squadron and everything but the Turbo part is already out. Super Galaxy Squadron EX Turbo is an old school arcade lookin shmup/bullet hell game that is pretty stupid fun. The only reason I stopped playing was because my friends wanted to go, it is entirely up my alley. It's main gimmick is they have like 10-15 ships to choose from all with different firing patterns.
Double Kick Heroes
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLScYym8EjM
Double Kick Heroes is a two lane rhythm shooter where you fight off zombies and hell trains? with the power of metal. Which lane you fire on is entirely dependent on which button you press to hit the note. Looking at the flyer again, there are more note types than I ever saw so it may get even harder than what I played. For whatever reason I had a bit of a hard time of getting the timing down. I never asked where they were from but both the dudes I spoke to had heavy European accents which seems perfect for the type of game they're making. They definitely win the award for best websites though, their company site is http://www.headbang.club and the game site is http://www.doublekickheroes.rocks
Steam
didn't people crowdfund this? are all of the investors cool with it being a psvr exclusive?
That said, Psychonauts feels like an incredibly natural fit for VR, so I'm pretty cool with them making something like this.
I'm just gonna hold onto this
Feb 27th! You know, right before all those big AAA games start coming out!

just found out about this
looks like my kind of jam though
He had some not-so-nice things to say about the development and direction of Below. It was not a fun game in a lot of their playtests. Mind you, this was around May-June (I distinctly remember the time because people were still rabidly playing Pokemon Go). Things could be different now, but he left Capy around October to take a job with Ubisoft Toronto instead, so I don't know much more about it at this point.
Steam: TheArcadeBear

There are too many games with short single word names. I had to check my Steam wishlist to remember what it was called.
