So I've got this work study job, and rather often they run out of things for me to do. For instance, right now. I've got an hour left and spent an hour browsing FARK. But when I finish reading FARK, i'm kinda..out. Anyone have tips for things to do/read at work? Can't watch youtube or do flash games. I would like some sort of online reading material. The stories at Something Awful in the comedy goldmine are great examples, but SA itself is too NSFW to go to.
Read a book. Whatever kind you like if you like genre stuff (sci-fi, fantasy, detective). Or just go grab a random famous book. They're usually pretty good. Smaller bookstores and probably your uni bookstore have Dover Thrift editions of famous books for like $3 each.

Site that posts a new sci-fi short story every day. There's a pretty massive archive of stories at this point. Pretty interesting.

Great time waster at work!
Well yeah, but, on a friday? And if I'm done with everything that needs doing?
bash.org is good, the top 100 or whatever posts are awesome, but the quality kinda stems out from there.
