Well, as expected, since I only had 20 orbs, no Ike, but I did get a 4* Chrom that I didn't have before and good IVs too (+atk/-def) so I can't complain.

Saw a comment that Threaten Attack is good on Ike to ensure Heavy Blade is always active.
Aether does not net you any notable kills over Luna. Moonbow is only better than Luna on targets that are not going to counterattack you, in which case they're already dead and it is redundant.
Soren and Lilina's specials seem awesome. Lots of damage before I hit them. I'm quite enjoying them. Selena might actually be my favorite character right now though... Because her personality matches too close to mine. Which FE game is she from? I'll need to pick it up if I can.
Reading quest completion requirements for the new chapter is hard :P

Pay close attention to the Chapter 10 mission requirements. Some of them are to survive a certain number of turns (and specific enemies will be unkillable!) while others require you to kill everyone in a set number of turns.

Btw...Sharena with Swordbreaker is a beast. I think I'm going to give her Fury 3 to replace Speed 3. I regret giving her Moonbow - I think Bonfire would have been better. Still, it's good to have her so beastly since she's a mainstay in the arena and the best lance unit I have.

Her initial skillset isn't the most impressive, but her stats are pretty solid. Attack is a little on the low side, but she's a lot faster than I'd expect. I'm still really hoping to get her, myself.
Also as mentioned by someone earlier, her Guard skill is a little better than it looks. It seems to completely prevent the opponent from gaining their special at all when in combat against her, as long as she's above the HP threshold. Pretty interesting.

She's better than Gunther in ideal Horse Emblem.
Give her Gunther's buff and flanked by Eldigan/Eilwood/Xander and Reinhardt with their horse buffs and she's a reliable Blue Killer that won't get doubled by literally every living thing.
Gunther has a defense and attack edge but that matters not with buffs, and since she can double people, with Horse Buffs that makes her extra potent.
Plus she's a 5*, meaning you don't have to blow 20k Feathers on Gunther to get him to his max potential.
70 orbs of red and green got me nada so far. Lots of dupes. Some are I guess useful ones. But.
So many Raighs, Sophias and Draugs.
So...very....many.

Even with I.V.'s, the value that Fire Emblem gives per orb is fairly insane in comparison to other games of this style.

Going to have to start stockpiling orbs again, and also finally mobilize my feathers and fodder as I have to use these guys for the long haul.
So I have some material to work with and almost 60K feathers but I need sooo many more feathers.
I can upgrade +DEF/-HP Nowi to 5* and give her TA to pair with my Ninian. (20KF) But... I also want to give TA to Ninian and Dark Breath+ but for that I have to upgrade Corrin F (20KF)... or I could also raise my 3*+DEF/-SPD Tiki (22KF), which is a pretty great IV for her and she also has the advantage of not being Nowi, but also lacks protection against Falchions like a TA Nowi does. Or just go with TA Neutral Corrin F (20KF) and have a debuffing front liner.
I also got +ATK/-DEF Lilina and like 4 Henrys so maybe I can make a Rauðrraven TA Swordbreaking Lilina (40KF) out of that pile of reds and run a Lilina, Nino, Azura, Ninian team.
Upgrade +ATK/-HP Robin M to 5* and give him TA for special event maps with all these ninjas and archers. (20KF)
Get started on Horse Emblem in anticipation of Xander? I've got Titania, and I could raise my 3* Nino to feed to 4* Cecilia (2KF - 42KF depending on super budget vs premium, another 4KF on Gunter and Jeagan fodder). Cavalry healers can inherit horse buffs right? So I can give Clarine the other buff and have a budget Horse Emblem team going. Don't have Baby-hands or Olwen, and I don't have an Owen to feed to Ursula so that's out.

so how does one prepare for the coming wave of ikes in the arena
Start saving orbs for adult Ike coming in like two weeks once Nintendo sees how much bank they made off people shelling out for this Ike.
I have no significant other to hold me back.
This is half the reason why I'm not pullin more Ikes.
My Kid Ike is 100% getting fed to Adult Ike who's gonna have over 55 ATK base, minimum.
