    1. Can we please change the thread title to inform people that we're in the middle of an "all hands on deck" type situation?
    2. What's good tactics for this event? It's definitely not a pubbie-friendly quest, because it takes a level of cooperation/planning that's above the average innate ability of pubbies to handle.

    Done and done!

Also, I have had pretty good results with pubbies in this event, getting 70-90 civilians total before we decide to evac.

If two dozen of us can get 90+ runs, that would be enough to get us into the first tier.

So yeah, lot more likely than what it was looking before.

It's better but it's still kind of shit since they didn't touch the still stupid high numbers needed for the built/potato'd weapon & slot. Which is the standard by which every single event weapon was doled out before this.

DE's expectations for clan membership and activity are hopelessly detached from the reality of their playerbase.

Eh. Slot&pot is luxury. Now if our lazy clan had been locked out of getting the Ignis Wraith entirely I would have been pissed.

The Resources available in The Pacifism Defect mission are now the same Resource table as the Orokin Derelicts!

So in addition to doing this stuff for the operation rewards, you'll also now happen to be farming mutagen samples for the Hema (if you haven't already done it's research). Two birds, one stone!

May just be that they expect clans to maintain a level roughly on par with their activity. And that doesn't seem crazy to me. If they set the "you must be this tall to ride" bar too low, then checking them off becomes a joke for clans that do actually have (for example) all 300 out of 300 members active.

It'd be interesting to see the breakdown on clans and active members. Maybe there are like a million Ghost clans out there so the Big Name Giants at the upper end just aren't really thought about? Maybe we're a bit of an exception with our multi-year retention.

I haven't been in a bunch of clans, so it's kinda hard to say how we compare to the average, and aside from anecdotal commentary, I think we'd really need them to say something official to get a sense of where they stand.

Said on the devstream that the original numbers were based on the what felt right if 50% of a full clan on that tier participated.

    Regrettably, I'm illiterate, so it's actually Perrin/Loka.

However, I can still hook you up with the Velocitus bit, gt's same as username, and I'm on... A woeful amount, these days.

Well right now the clan stands at 3,552 out of 7,560 points needed for the BP goal

We should get some groups together for some deep 100-120+ runs. 75 rescues is pretty easy even with randos.

We are at roughly half of what we need for the ignis wraith BP. Farming runs (of people who have already contributed) are not as important as more people actually doing the event (as we would have to double all contributor's scores to hit the target).

@Darmak If possible, please change the thread title to indicate that participation is needed for the ignis wraith and that we do not have enough to get it right now. Just saying clan event won't attract inactives, as the clan participation portion of the previous events provided nothing of value (e.g. dojo trophy). As much as I love the current wang based title, acquiring event weapons is serious business 8-) .

Pretty sure that only the third stage of the event contributes to the clan, but you don't have to complete the third stage before you contribute.

Honestly, the people that care already read the thread and know about the event. The inactives obviously don't give a shit, hence them not having logged in for months or a year or more. They aren't going to see the thread title and suddenly log in to help you guys.

Managed a 400 point run with some pubbies (although it was less managed and more "We decided to stop at that point").
2x Trinity (one of them was me with a Tigris Prime), 1x Nova and...someone else (didn't catch the frame). Someone had a synoid simulor.

    Tactics:
Pair up into a B and a C team (Trinity on each team). Then keep escorting your points dudes.

Just did a run playing as Equinox, and apparently mend DOES work on civvies. The healing per kill didn't seem to do much, but popping it after building it up a bit worked quite well. Plus her CC in dark form just let me kill shit easy

Loadout the group I was running with was duration Limbo, a pair of low-duration Trinities, and the fourth could be more or less whatever (an ember, in this case)

Limbo hangs out at A rifting the dudes for the run to the shuttle, one trin each for B and C to heal the duders, and the fourth is basically there in case something goes sideways somewhere.

Best run thus far was 652 points.

We're now just under 2000 away from getting the BP.

Plan on grinding hard tomorrow to finish the T3 personal reward, always try to go further than the last time, current best is 368.

Having a Trin or two spamming blessing on the survivors to cut down on waiting on at the healing stations does speed things up quite a bit, however, playing that is boring as hell for me, though it might have just been my mistake in bringing a Soma Prime and not something like a Tonkor.

Yeah we really only need 20 people to get to 100 rescues each, which is not difficult in the slightest, even with pugs.

A Trinity paired with something that can do long range AOE damage and/or crowd control, for each B & C station is plenty. I've been running mostly Firequake Ember, and not even seriously (all leveling weapons). Later on the eximus auras and poison clouds get pretty thick so pack Vitality.

There is a syndicate augment mod for Ember's World of Fire called Firequake, it adds a knockdown effect to WoF, turning it into basically a passive CC skill once load up on the Duration and Efficiency mods to reach the bottom cap on energy tics per second.

Very nice for this mission type since unlike most other, typically better CC builds, Firequake Ember doesn't give two shits that you are on the move the vast majority of the time.

I'm pretty content with my contribution so far, and will try to find the time to get a good epic run going at some point.

But 2k for single contribution is.. considerable.

Well. That's points. Each extraction is worth 4 points. So really you need 500 extractions ...

... Which is still honestly a slog sometimes because there's just not much there.

Honestly. The last 1750 points (tier 3) are the easiest, because both you and your teammates know what to do.
With the right frame and decent teammates a 100 hostages is easy. Sure, you could have nabbed those first 75 hostages that way too, but the probability of ending up with people having decent builds and knowning what to do increases exponentially for each Tier.
1750 points is 4-5 runs. 4-5 relatively easy runs.

Ok. We're at 7340-ish points. Which means that we basically need to improve our scores total by about 56 hostages. That's about equivalent to two new people trying out third tier and then end up with awful teams and almost completely botch it.
