Completed a bounty before the servers kind of crashed or something on me.
Seemed really fun and looking forward to diving into the plains, but seems like it needs a day or more of hotfix's. Which is totally standard for such a huge update

Anyone figured out how to get grouped up with pugs for bounties yet?
Some of these missions are just too insane solo.
Theoretically matchmaking happens in the gate area between Cetus and the plains, but the system doesn't seem to be working too hot. My first bounty run squad'd up just fine, none of my other attempts got a group.

Plains of Eidolon has been added to the list of eligible Sortie regions!
The Void has been added to the list of eligible Sortie regions! Sorties that occur in the Void will have every mission take place in the Void.
Also:
Defection has been added to eligible Void Fissure missions!
Decided to try out this game tonight - didn't have any of the crazy login problems or anything mentioned above, but OH BOY that lookspeed is really really high. I had to crank it down to 10 before it felt anywhere close to good.
Anyone else experiencing this? It still felt super-jerky.

No one likes defection missions. Not even defection missions like themselves.

That’s pretty normal in my experience and that of the people I’ve talked to. The default setting is super super high, especially on PC for all but the truest MLG twitch shooter pros.
Defection missions themselves are fine, just like Infested Salvage. They can make for a nice change of pace when you do one. The problem is they keep putting the one rare frame part in them, so you get people stuck grinding them over and over and then never wanting to do it again.

So uh, didn't notice this before, but all the vandal and wraith stuff is colorable now. 10/10 best patch.
also mag procs dont completely zap all your energy instantly but drain it over time instead which is cool too i guess but its not as important
Worked through the Gara blueprint storyline, did some random murder. Seems pretty good. Saw an Eidlon out of the gate but it was too far away to both with, also found "Eidolon bait/lure" which I could sorta light up, killing the little floating heads nearby, but nothing seemed to happen after it ate two.
Also, since I don't much play I plunked 16000 plastic things into the research item for the doodad that lets you fly on the plains. It said 2 days and 22 hours, I believe.

Sorry if this was already mentioned in the thread but I just found out that Amazon/Twitch Prime subscribers will be given away a Soma Prime and a Scindo Prime with the release of the PoE update.
I was planing on crafting a Soma when hitting MR6 myself so this is great news for a newbie like me.

Also, the whole system got reworked just now with the Plains of Eidolon release. So any old guides are now obsolete!

Hell, I have a fairly beefy machine and I noticed a little slowdown/stuttering here and there.
Maybe it's an optimization issue? If it's impacting enough users they might need to go tweak something (or give us something to tweak on our end, or hell maybe just bump down the existing sliders a notch here and there).

My new computer doesn't have trouble with it per se, but the breakables and even the grineer really blend into their background at any distance above point blank. Without loot radar I wouldn't be able to find anything.
Loot radar is a huge help. Enemy radar may turn out to be pretty valuable too as camo is a thing, and sometimes I don't notice those floating reinforcement beacons the enemies throw out.
Scanners (Codex and Synthesis) are also somewhat helpful, but it feels ridiculous that they can't highlight enemies as far away as the enemies can see you with their eyes and start shooting. I guess I'll be maxing my rep with Simaris every day now, since stealth scanning random drop ships flying by is pretty painless. I wonder if a scanner can help with fishing? I've heard fish don't appear until you're in aim mode with your spear, so probably not.

After so many years of murdering people, it feels nice to be helping someone (by murdering people).
