If I got a Playstation TV, I could play vita games on it, correct? Just by popping them in?
Most of them. Some of them are incompatible because of all the gimmicky controls they use. There's lists in incompatible games out there, but anything recent should work with no issue.
Could not disagree more, Fran is a generic bunny girl I have seen a million times all over the Internet. The judges at least have distinct looks to them.
Got all the disc jam trophies except win 50 online matches, which I'm pretty close to I think. Got matched up against what I can only imagine was a very little kid and lucked into the one for winning an entire match without losing a point. I felt kinda bad but ehhhhhh I need them trophies.

I've only gotten ending W and have not made it out of the factory because the game won't let me save.
I died the first time, but the second time I realized that you can't take damage chain dodging, and any time a giant gear came at me I just mashed the shit out of R2. And remembered to use healing items if I was getting at all low.

I wonder why we haven't seen more stuff like classic arcade compilations on PS4. I'm in the mood to play some classic TMNT and I have no way to play it.

Konami made those games and they don't give a shit.
Not game related, but the movie "Arrival" is available for rent on PSN this weekend for 50 cents (in the US). If you haven't seen this, this would certainly not be the worst use of a half-dollar (and 116 minutes of your time).
Any details on this, because it does not appear to be 50 cents right now.
#killallzombies is thrusting civilians into a fight for survival against the unleashed population of ravenous zombies. And you are the only one who is destined to stop them.

Okay, PS-VR playing 3D Blu-Rays is just incredible. Perfect parallax, zero image ghosting, and a gigantic screen which just feels so immersive.
My only issue with it is that the screen would do this weird drift thing where it slowly changes angles to the left or right. It's easy enough to fix instantly by holding down the OPTIONS button or it fixes itself on its own as time goes by. But still, why does it drift at all? Weird.
Watched Avatar and Ant-Man in 3D, and I plan on seeing The Martian later.
I noticed the drift to the left too; but I was sitting around 3m away from the camera... Maybe I should sit closer? So that it doesn't make any rounding errors or something when the helmet lights are to far from the camera? I should try this out....
Just sent an invite to the group. JMan71183 on PSN. I've got Overwatch, Wildlands, Destiny, and Uncharted 4 that I can play online. I'll be getting Mass Effect as well and will be down for multi there.
Why oh why did I ever leave Shadow of Mordor? This game is amazing. Today I mopped up the herbalist and hunter challenges along with the trophy for letting an orc kill you, orchestrating his rise to war chief, and then killing him for being a jerk who killed you once. And, as a nice bonus he dropped the level 25 rune I needed for another trophy. Now all I have to do is figure out how to liberate 30 slaves in 3 minutes while riding a caragor and then I'm ready to try out The Bright Lord DLC pack.
P,aying import games and the switching between X amd O confirm keeps tripping me up. I keep wanting to use O back in menus a d other games.
I did Zero no Kiseki in Japanese recently, and what tripped me up wasn't in game stuff so much as it switching on me every time I went to save and it loaded up that fucking save applet some games use.
Managed to get the Shadow of Mordor platinum last night and started The Bright Lord. I'm not sure how I feel about my first goal being to brand all 5 warchiefs.

It's the level 25 rune that terrifies me for the trophies in that. That and the free slaves while riding a caragor.

If you don't mind watching a video on how to do that, the second part is pretty easy. The 25 rune requires a lot of setup to guarantee you get one but in the whole are not too bad.
If anyone likes runner games, there's a pretty good one called CorridorZ on sale for $3. Crossbuy PS4/Vita. Definitely worth that price, bought it last night, and have put a bunch of time into it already. Pretty simple game, but fun enough to get that "one more try" vibe going.
Also picked up Loot Rascals. It's got a fantastic artstyle and sense of humor. The gameplay is butts though. Like, rotten butts.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.

So how are people feeling about their PS4 Pro's? Or their not Pro's. Been looking at Digital Foundry video's, and I've been having trouble spotting the difference.
Even Horizon looks pretty similar between both versions, though that may just be because Guerilla is staffed by actual, robe wearing Wizards.

I haven't had a chance to play around with boost mode but I think that will be the real killer point for the system.
I mean, I think I like it and the pro enhanced games are really pretty, but I also have a 4K monitor on my desk that I'm sitting, what, 3 feet away from? It's hard to be objective.
My one complaint is that I wish games would let me have a little more control over the enhancements. Like, Last Guardian, I want to play that in 1080p for the frame rate but I need to set the console to 1080p or the game will go 4K/prettier but poorer performing.

I never fear death or dyin', I only fear never trying.
I'm still trying to find a charging dock for the PSVR and move controllers. The one i picked up from Amazon didn't work and the official one isn't sold in the UK. Bloody annoying wanting to play a VR game only to not have either controller charged.
I am so bad at finding times for games lately. Still haven't finished Uncharted 2, still haven't gotten past the prologue in Nier. I'm a terrible gamer.
I am pretty close on Uncharted 2, though. I think I'm on Chapter 18.
It's bandwidth, not processing power that's the issue. They'll work exactly as PS3 games have (which incidentally I've had no issue with).
Nice addition. I'm guessing this is to compete with Microsoft and their new subscription service. Ps now subscription for a monthly fee with ps3 and ps4 games sounds a pretty good proposition.

PlayStation Now is going to support streaming of PS4 games in the near future. This is exciting.
Maybe would be more exiting if the weren't ending support for every device that wasn't a PS4 or PC.
