[Nintendo] Finished Zelda? Why don't you play...hang on, gimme a second...
Posts
Nintendo sold 900k Switches last month and 930k copies of Zelda for Switch
Yes, more people own Zelda for Switch than they do a Switch
nintendo underproduces stuff and people had problems with some of the launch systems, getting the game now and waiting on a version of the system with fewer issues kinda makes sense
I need this in my life.
@Peewi
So hey, it turns out I was wrong about this, I fired up my Japanese copy and in the single player menu is an option for Puyo and Tetris gametypes. Tetris has three modes:
40 Lines: Time attack for removing 40 lines.
Marathon: Score attack for removing 150 lines.
Ultra: Score attack for three minutes. Drop speed of Tetriminos won't increase.
Marathon has an option you can turn in for endless, which one would think is pretty much what it means. I haven't tested it out because after a couple games my best so far is 145 lines before being at 15 speed just gets to me.

I made him try Puyo Puyo Tetris and he looooved it
He had never heard of Puyo Puyo and somehow has never played Battle Tetris either
I understand not getting as system at launch, but why not also wait to buy the game until you can play it?
not that zelda is something I would expect to have that problem
I think the real question is why Nintendo made more copies of Zelda than consoles to play it on in the first place.
Steam: pazython
My brother said where have I seen Puyo Puyo before
I said Mean Bean machine before I finished Machine he went wow that long ago and it's never been here since wow
Because the game isn't going to drop in price between launch and whatever nebulous point that they get a Switch and/or they got a special version of the game for the extra bits.
Well, we had Puyo Pop Fever for the GameCube and DS (PS2 & XBox as well in Europe), but that was over 10 years ago.
Steam: pazython
Which is upsetting to him as he wants a HD of it for the WIIU now switch
I lied the other game he has for it is Pikmin so the only 4 I see he kept are the 4 I said
Well this is the hill we die on

Sometimes you go to the store and the thing you want the most isn't there, so you end up something related that IS there, so you don't go home totally empty handed.
They probably didn't. Some portion of people bought it on eshop.
As far as I'm concerned, video games come from the internet.
God Bless these men of science
It's a lot less serious to have spare copies of your game on the shelves than your console so you're going to do a bigger first run of your games than you would your console, with the assumption that not all of the first run is going to sell out immediately.
I don't understand a word he said, but I feel as though I know exactly what he was saying. Wow. Just wow.
Why are they creating battery packs for the joycons
Those thing last like ten times as long as the system battery
Though that would only really be very useful for playing a multiplayer game while mobile.
Which seems like a very situational accessory.
Oh wait
First thing is that they attach to the joycons like the little shoulderpads things, so you can't have the battery attached while the joycons are attached to the system.
Second is I'm relatively certain that the Switch doesn't provide any power to the joycons when it is undocked.
I can read one version and not the other.
The English demo is set to first to 1 win while the Japanese demo is set to first to 2.
The Japanese demo has rumble enabled for basically every action that happens in the game, thankfully the English demo does not.
