I completely forgot about the running subplot that Luigi is the most famous adventurer in the world and he is constantly up to his own cool shit with his own party while you're away
People are constantly mistaking you for Luigi and are a little disappointed when it turns out you're Mario

What a wonderful reversal of the M&L running joke I hate.
Thank you for alterting me, I am buying this shit tomorrow. I am gonna buy this so hard.
Everyone buy this game, it's the best RPG of its gen that I've played. It is obtuse and poorly translated and has its warts, but what a game, hoo buddy.

I only ever played OB64 once, when I was like 7.
I assume the game is not quite as malevolently obtuse as I remember it, but the thing might as well have still been in Japanese for all tiny me could make sense of it.

yeah, I had to come back to it in college to really appreciate it
course as a kid the very notion that my units were autobattling (absurd! what gives them the right) was distressing to me

Green > Red
I also had a great-grandpa named Luigi so there's probably some bias there too
The sidequests in this game are "Mario gets up to some dirt"
You pull off smuggling and price-fixing jobs, for starters
Mario is a criminal
for me it's basically that and super metroid
I heard nothing but great things about the writing in that game but you couldn't pay me to try it
This ain't Law-abiding-citizenport.
The script and atmosphere is great. The combat is terrible.
awww shit, they got SLATER?
sorry Xbots, Nintendo wins again
In that case might I interest you in this Slater inverter?
Hmm, Direct Current Slater is a little too forward for me.
@Wyborn
I have no idea who this Slater is. Probably a youtuber.
I've never seen Saved by the Bell but even I know of AC Slater
The tens of thousands of dollars in debt were worth it for this one goofer.
Man, is Christian Slater SEO that bad?
HOO DANG

Everyone:
Play this game.
It's not the best in the series, but it's a great introduction.
Because I find that shit way too difficult

Whoops!
yeah that seems like a bad call
at least it has bluetooth
I bought some bluetooth headphones and I really like them but keeping yet another thing charged is such a pain
I have like 4 different things I've had to make a habit out of where I put them so they charge
and then the Switch will be another one with the Joycons, gotta make sure I put them back on the dock
I've been having this reaction everytime I've gone to adjust the volume on my Pixel after four years of having iPhones.
I'm so used to the jack being on the bottom that I flip the phone upside down everytime I take it out of my pocket.
