You'll want to add /aerror off for the Verfire/Verstone macro.
And unless you can have the macro read your white/black mana levels, I don't think you can macro verholy and verflare. They don't get proc'd like verstone and verfire, you have to choose which one to use.
edit: you can also macro up corps-a-corps and displacement for use with the main melee combo. May still want displacement on the bar by itself for emergency backlfips though.

And then Balmung (and Gilgamesh) crashed because of the volume of people getting dropped into the zone after it.
Yeah, they posted that they brought up a huge amount of instance capacity online, and as a consequence a lot of the duties that were blocking people are now cleared up.
A side effect of this is that the queue times are much longer even though queue counts are shorter. People are able to stay in the game much longer now, so players logging in progress through the queue much more slowly.
How well does this run on the ps3? I want to play again now the xpac is here but I'm not interested in playing on my laptop anymore. Leaves using my ps3 or obtaining a 4, but that's probably more money than I'm willing to throw at it.
They just discontinued PS3 support last week. Sorry

PvP is weird now. My three abilities are one button that cycles between my combo steps.
Can I please have that in a pve bar? Is there a way to do that?
It would require more than that. Branching combos exist. One key doesn't quite work for that.
I mean it works pretty well in pvp.
One button for 1-2-3
Another for 1-4-5
Both branch from 1, but then you can just press the same key three times in a row. I'd love to have that for Paladin in PvE. Have to get Goring in there so just have a 1-4-6 as a third button, instead of me using 6 buttons on my main bar.
Oh I actually didn't realize they did that. I thought with all the cut abilities for PvP they just picked a set main combo!
That's pretty cool in that case.
Also side note: the extra mana you get back on DRK while in Grit is awesome. It completely counters the cost of a Dark arts so you can do a DA Souleater combo with essentially no extra cost.

Yep. No difference in the games, but if you buy the game on Steam you also need to buy all the expansions on Steam -- conversely, if you don't buy the game on steam, you must also buy the expansions off Steam.

Poetics in Idlyshire, middle vendor in Rowena's place. I just hit 60 too and 2000 poetics gets you pretty much the full set of i260 shire gear.
Alternatively just start the expansion and you'll get a set of 255 gear piece by piece during some of the earliest quests (before you really have to fight much). You can also just buy 255 gear from one of the vendors in Reach.

I sure Rhalgar's Reach had one, and even the first town you enter I think had one too. Also, the MSQ (like in HW) gives rewards of the High Quality versions of the items from the vendor.

You can get all the 255 gear from the vendors in Ishgard, in the Jeweled Crozier or however it is spelled.
If you're running from the aetherite the jeweler will be on your right past the market boards, and then the armorer and weapons dealer just past them. Select the level 60 gear.
EDIT: make sure you look at what you're buying though. I'm about to log on to check, but I want to say the jeweler, at least, has the gear mixed with level 50 stuff.
EDIT2: Yeah, the jeweler just has "battlecraft" as an option, with the 115 50 gear and the 255 60 gear. So just look at which first.
The other two have a 60 gear option under battlecraft.
Made the mistake of trying to do the level 60 pld duty.

it's fucking stupid enough that the whole duty debacle is fucking up people progressing in SB. It's doubly stupid that every single fucking class quest, and otherwise, that requires a duty, is fucked too.
I swear they had the exact same duty instance problem at 2.0 launch. 4 years ago. So they just didn't solve it? I guess people filtered through it slowly enough that it just took care of itself, but the systems that failed that caused it don't appear to have ever been fixed.

The Cold Steel problem seems to be fixed, at least on Hyperion. The crowd was completely gone this morning and I got in first try.
And can I safely do the RDM and SAM quests?

I was able to get through both father and son earlier. I did the SAM quests with no issues. I have not unlocked RDM.
You'll want to add /aerror off for the Verfire/Verstone macro.
