Ford does seem to be half assing it, but Crystal Skull sucking wasn't his fault.
Oh, I know. And I know that he actually prefers the character of Indiana Jones to Han Solo. But he also liked the character of Deckard Cain, and looking at how he's appeared in all promotional materials for that... I fear he's going all Bruce Willis.
I intended to refer to Rick Deckard from Blade Runner. I don't know what happened between my brain and my fingers. I'm going to blame Max Landis.
I'm going to make a secret slasher thread and have the mods ban AJ from posting in it.
Then we're all going to post the WORST opinions and theories and he won't be able to respond.
a few weeks ago I almost made a secret Jason thread but I couldn't think of a topic that was something he hated but not enough to come in and yell at us
it's like the one time in my life I've had the problem of being too provocative

Sylvester McCoy's Doctor (if I remember right, and I'm not rewatching Battlefield to find out) is canonically already Merlin. So he's already a wizard.
But not as much as the first, which I thought had the better story. The first seemed to be under the impression that it'd be a standalone film and had a conclusion, while this one I felt didn't really "finish" under the assumption they'd get another film to play around in.
But I loved the expansion of the world building, even as I still have questions.
Really I thought about it
Making a Wizard slasher would be fun. All you have to do is like in adventure time show learning magic makes you insane. So have the whole film be about either a wizard was released from it's prison or someone picking up an interesting book and going bonkers then the rest of the film is magic missile and turning people inside out and the effort of the town to stop them
Or like I said you could have the other half as some idiot punk kids topple a stone struction in the idea of "safety" releasing a spirit from long ago terrorizing the town and no one knows how to put it back....
You know that movie style where like a bunch of jocks or thrill seeking teenagers hunt someone? I've always wanted someone to make an equivelent film but set during classical Sparta. There was an underclass in that society called Helots, and young Spartan men would often raid and hunt them for fun and like to prove their manhood. I would love to have a main character be a helot who turns the tables on them when they hunt them

I want to say that Kieron Gillen and Ryan Kelly did a comic with this precise plot.

This is true. Also they had plans before it got canceled to reveal that The Doctor was wayyyyy older than he said and was actually one of the three original Time Lords to invent time travel. There are only vauge hints of this plot line begun during the end of McCoy's run.

I'm pretty sure vanilla supports hell banning, for the ultimate in torture

fucking excellent, is what it is

Ahead of Undefeatable?
I feel like I've done myself a disservice by never having seen this.
I'd be interested in Shia, but only if he has to watch every single viewing with every single person that views it.

also, not a slasher but everyone should give it a chance:
stuff stephanie into the incinerator
At long last, everyone's ship can be canon!

undefeatable is her masterpiece
but manhattan chase is the director of undefeatable trying to do a domestic drama

Jesus wept, now I know I have to see this and I know it's going to be everything I never knew I wanted.
Some of my favorite lesser slashers:
Evolver
Intruder
Shredder
Theater of Blood (okay fine not actually a slasher but it has Vincent Price and it's the best)
Not as good as like, the true classics of the genre, mind you, but they're a bunch of fun
