I don't think it was clear at all. The mission is rescue "something." You don't know what you are there to rescue. I think it was perfectly fair on my part to assume that I was rescuing a drone (it's a cyberpunk game about an AI, a drone party member would fit fine). It's just very frustrating because I could have easily beaten the mission with no complications had the game clearly messaged that the drone was not my target objective, and now I have to fail a mission and lose having a full roster.
You can see all the possible recruits (in silhouette) when you first start a game.
and, sure, you might have lost a full roster ... this time.
The game is pretty random. I can't speak with certainty, but afaik?
a) there's no set number of rescue missions. I'm looking at a post where the player had a full roster when the game generated one;
b) it's possible that you can rescue someone without being on a rescue mission (I don't remember one way or the other); and
c) I suspect that there are some runs where the player just isn't offered rescue missions (or won't take one because the risk / reward ratio is off)
Invisible Inc. does way better than XCOM in facilitating retreat as an option. Every mission is a thin line between success and game over, so it's much needed.
Miss me? Find me on:

Speaking of logistics/economics games - has anyone tried Big Pharma?
Yes. It quickly got too complicated for me, but I enjoyed the easy missions well enough.
It is very much about optimizing your production lines with limited money and space. If that appeals to you, go for it. There's other stuff like research and market share etc., but that's the main thing.
Yeah I think the UI is OK. I ended up uninstalling it for the same reason Dubh is holding off.
Also Factorio 0.15 is coming out very soon and I'll lose another 60+ hours to THAT shit real fast.
Wait
Factorio is only 0.15 right now
I figured that game was near complete!
This update adds nuclear power and fluids tankers for trains! Also really high res textures for most stuff in game and enhancements to the science loop. I think 0.16 is intended to turn into 1.0 when they like the state it's in.

There's no single standard for version numbers, so it doesn't really mean anything. I'm not familiar with Factorio, but if they're using the Major release.Minor release convention it just means that it's the 15th release and isn't an indicator on how close they are to 1.0.

I always forget that there's no standard for that, so that explains my confusion.

I hope they make a sequel to popular Nintendo game Bayonetta 2
I wonder where it would be, though. One of the devs said that if it weren't for Nintendo, B2 wouldn't exist... which makes me wonder how linked future entries would be.

That's pretty neat. They couldn't make it too powerful though, or it'd totally fuck up the user's wrist.
I dunno, man. it's got that huge arm it's attached to which itself is attached to a vest. That thing probably absorbs most of the impact.
EDIT: It specifically says that the fist has 3000 PSI

3000 PSI is meaningless without an area and a leverage ratio.

That looks like a really unnatural "punching" motion for a human arm, so I'd be inclined to think if that swing arm extended with any real speed and you were really holding on to that thing hard that it'd probably hurt your wrist and maybe dislocate your shoulder.

Clearly not ready for battle against orkses psh
The obvious solution is for them to build the whole armor! For science
Game comes out September 19th. There will also be a 2017 Character Pass available, which the Deluxe version includes, that has 6 characters including Sigma being the first released.

not at all, there's a ton of content and it all works fine. they're just adding additional slimes and areas at this point.
it doesn't need a story, it's a farming sim
the UI is great; I don't see why they would bother changing it

First Lesson: "safe word"
Second Lesson: "There is none."
I always forget that there's no standard for that, so that explains my confusion.
What if it was both?
And then halfway through the game Bayonetta and Vanquish Guy swap power sets.
I wonder where it would be, though. One of the devs said that if it weren't for Nintendo, B2 wouldn't exist... which makes me wonder how linked future entries would be.
So it would really come down to "Does everyone except Nintendo turn them down again"

Also a reminder that if you own any Saints Row games on Steam, you've only got about a day and a half or so to copy them over to GOG for free.
