I saw the NBC Miniseries made in 1987. based on the trailer... the movie will not be the equal to the miniseries.
Ansel Elgort is no Judd Nelson and Kevin Spacey should be digitally replaced with Ron Silver(rip). And what is Emma Roberts doing there? Its the Billionaire BOYS club, no slimmy girls allowed! (Plus people didn't actually dress like that outside of the blade runner set).
The sky was full of stars, every star an exploding ship. One of ours.
Anyone who wanted the Intergalactic remix from the Lego Movie 2 trailer, it's here - https://www.karelpsota.com/
Scroll down a bit to "trailer music" and it's in a Soundcloud player window as "Intergalactic V12 (Full Mix)"
It is not, however, on his main Soundcloud page. Or anywhere else. I assume he pulled it off because it got licensed, but for now that's the only place it exists apparently.
DOOM 2016 was up there with XCOM2 on the short list of games from that year that I would gush about to anyone that would listen, so getting more of that would be highly welcome.
First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKER!

I'm not sure how I feel about the Halloween reboot.
The trailer looks good. I'm sold there. It's just weird because it overwrites H2-8 and H2 and H20 were both good movies.
As long as we're done with Rob Zombie I'm happy.
I might be the only one who actually likes the rob zombie Halloweens
The first one was actually pretty good. Michael isn't evil incarnate, he's abused and ignored. He's a real world monster, the kind we create every day. I could never understand the decision it got, it's pretty good.
The second was just not necessary. He's back to being magic, so it's just rote horror.

Now I kind of what to see a reboot where Michael is created through the lens of a school shooter ala Kylo Ren. They should really drop the ultimate evil bullshit, too, make him grounded and human - Jason does the evil incarnate unstoppable serial killer trope better than he does.

That's what the Rob Zombie remake is. He's the weird kid with the messed up family life. His parents miss the signs, like the cruelty to animals, but his classmates can tell he's troubled. When his issues are discovered, he lashes out and starts his murder spree with what he views as his school bully.
It's a pretty grounded take on the character. I wouldn't compare him to Kylo Ren, as his backstory is actually on screen and relevant, but he isn't a boogeyman, he's ill.

It’s an interesting take on the character, but I prefer the inscrutable monster version. Traditional serial killers are a well covered ground, but I think the unknowable strangeness of Michael in the first movie sets it apart.

That covered part of it with the grounding, but I'd like to see a new take with the Kylo Ren spin. There's far more they can do with Michael then what Rob Zombie did.

While it's hard to disagree, I'd like to make a slight ammendment to the statement.
"...more better things..."
Cause Benched looks abysmal from that trailer, even with him in it.
Major League that ain't.
It also ain't Bad News Bears. Any of them.
