Make sure to hold on to as many copies of the TMRs from the raid as you can get, since in JP they can use them to craft enhanced versions. Follower's oath, for instance, goes up to +15% ATK/HP.
I think so. All of the FFXIV TMRs in JP can be combined to craft better versions. It does set a precedent for taking older, outclassed TMRs and making them better though, so maybe eventually we'll see other TMRs get the same treatment.

I have 84 4* Cactuars. WTB six star WoL or Agrias or TGC or 7* upgrades..
I'm holding off on raid summons until the end of the raid like I did with Bahamut. That way maybe WoL/Garland/Agrias 6* may be announced or released. I also need to grab the 100 Larlars from King Mog still but have no-one in particular to use them on. I could level a second Chizuru I guess.
I'm also using of my energy trying to farm support Giancrysts. I need one more and I'll be able to +2 Ramza's song as soon as his enhancements hit.

Woo, 28th trophy gained. Im close to bronze for the friend points received, and then I just need to use 54 more items to gain the hero Ring for trophies gained.
Then at least that little bit of progression is done.

Removed 12 dead accounts from my friend list. @Talith and "Zerth" haven't logged in in 10+ days but I'll give them a bit more leeway.
Friend code is 919304021 for those who don't have me. Currently using 1044 attack Olive with Stone Killer and Golem (no cover!).
So I've been looking thru my units to figure out what to keep. While I have the recommended ones from the wiki and opening for keep, what should I do with these? level them and then sell or do something else with them? These are 3 and 4* right now.
I don't know if in a vacuum they are alright or not. I have minfilia from the event so I have an ele prot and stat buffer, and setzer for various things (along with bartz), plus my rem and wilhelm if that matters for whether on keeping any above to advance for something of the same role.

Mmm... Should I even worry about them for TMR? Im not exactly tmr farming as it is. Argh, decisions. Guess its time to spreadsheet up some stuff and compare on what I want.
Oh hey, score. 5* Y'shtola gained! /thumbsup

You can make a pretty good team with Wilhelm, Rem, Setzer, Bartz, Minfilia. Setzer can set up chains with a friend unit and Bartz can be a decent finisher until you pull someone better.
The majority of the other units you listed are "meh" on their own but have good TMRs and this are worth keeping around. Krile is like a much worse Rem and her TMR is not great, so if you're looking to free up space you can probably sell her. Hope has some niche uses in later trials where his Aeorja can be a pretty good chain capper, but right now he's essentially dead weight.

You'll eventually get enough Trust Moogles from events/arena rewards to get a couple TMRs without grinding for them. Out of that list I'd prioritize Abel for TMR since his Dagger grants Dualwield and could be very effective on Setzer.

You should be!
You've got arguably the best tank right now and two top healers (with mediocre black magic output). Setzer is also good. You don't seen to have any high level DPS, sadly. *
* Setzer has some good value as DPS but it requires a certain set up and some luck.
I have a petrify-proof, Stone Killer, no Cover Golem wearing Friendlandeau and five or six friend slots free. Feel free to hit me up; my ID is 776 432 886

I was kept away from the game for long enough to be set free \o/
It's off my phone now but I still have the emulator squirled away at work waiting for Rikku and Ashe banners. Just to roll and have the satisfaction of rolling all those stored tickets.
Do you have Protection of the Gods on Minfilia? I assume it will proc like crazy in this fight. If so having her defend on every turn she's not buffing should keep you healed up pretty well.
Protection of the Gods stacks, I think. So that's pretty neat.
RNG is messing with me. Over the past two days I've spent all of my energy on trying to get two support Giancrysts. I have gotten one. In that time I have also gotten 5 healing Giancrysts.
Grumble grumble.

Different purposes, broadly speaking. Wilhelm has a bigger HP pool, can tank a bit better, and has some buffing, but WoL has huge breaks that significantly reduce the incoming damage. Wilhelm is probably better against mostly tauntable ST damage, but WoL is better against anything with AoE. It's important to note that WoL can also taunt damage pretty well, but not buff, and Wilhelm has no debuffs at all. Strong debuffs are much rarer than buffs, so in general, it'll be easier to make WoL work, and most rough things have oodles of AoE anyway.
I'm still hoping that they release WoL 6* right after Wilhelm's banner goes away. That way I won't feel so bad for failing to get him. Also Ramza enhancements pls.
@Rius my Fryevia has dual wield now. The raid ranking and Echidna 5 man finished off Zidane. All I have for the second weapon is enhancer so her magic took a little bit. She is at 4.4k HP also. Want less magic and more HP? I could probably add some muscle belts or something if so
45% party DEF/SPR buff, 5 round duration
50% party ATK/MAG buff + 50% party LB fill rate, 3 round duration (global exclusive)
100% Provoke +30% self mitigation, 3 round duration
Small damage +50% self mitigation, 1 round duration
Plus passives for +50% targeted chance, +3 LB/turn, 60% counter physical, heals self when Defending, and he has incredible base DEF+SPR from stats plus passives.
And his LB gives the party (30%-54%) damage reduction for one turn, plus gives him (50%-74%) extra DEF for 3 turns.
His enhancements, far far away, give him 10% more multiround mitigation, +80% more SPR, increase his party DEF/SPR buff to 70% and he gets HP/MP drain on one of his simple attacks.
Plus passives for 30% Counter Magic with self 25% HP/MP recovery, and some +HP and +DEF.
His LB is AoE damage and AoE +DEF.
His enhancements increase his 100% Provoke to 3 rounds, and his AoE Cover to 75% chance with 50% physical and 75% magic reduction.
In Japan, they don't have Ling, so they value WoL's breaks very highly. Their Wilhelm also doesn't have the party offensive + LB generation ability, so they don't use him very much. Our situation is really different.

4.4k is fine, that seems to be around where most of my friends list has settled.
I'm finally getting around to HP potting my Fryevia, which is helping a lot. Maybe we'll get the ability to get the enhanced FFXIV TMRs early, which would be lovely since Papalymo's goes to +15% HP +25% MAG.
I barely (BARELY) beat Empire of Light and Dark - ELT today with a 6-man. I need that Trust Moogle!
Given that I should be able to farm a few HP/MAG materia during the Titan raid even, the 4-man clear reward does not seem remotely worth trying to pick up.
Since giving Fry DW I've noticed an influx of friend requests from other DW Fry users. Neat. And I've gotten pretty decent at 14-chaining Fry/Orlandeau. Olive is a great timer for this, hit Divine Ruination right as she starts to lift the back end of the gun up, and then hit Frost Flower right after she shoots.
Gents, if you needed mana regen, and had Delita or Roselia, what should I be considering when choosing?
Delita is almost max level already, so I wouldn't need to level and awaken him 2 times. Also, he is pretty beefy.
I don't have anyone to break magic, but I've go CoD for a decent attack break. I have WoL, not leveled though.
Another thing that hit me, as a lowbie, should I focus on getting utility and survivability with a solid attacker rather than trying to get a set of chainers going?
Chiz does ok damage, but doesn't seem to really bring the pain by herself. I can probably just bring friends for damage if I get the support ready.
Woo! Threw 2 rare tickets at the banner and got an Alma (cleric? only move is Stone Throw? what?) and Grace (Woo! Magitech Armor! Wish I had a WKN and a Magitech Terra, I would have a team of Magitech warrors which would probably be pretty terrible!)
I was so close to dealing with the Trial.. and then messed up my turn order and got RHMs Noctis blown away :bigfrown:
But Yay for 2 Y'Shtolas, and more than 5 of all the other event units, I'm keeping 5 of Yda and Papalymo around for a bit, toss them into the TMR farm, decide down the line if I want to farm up 5 of their rewards or if I want to fuse them after they get some trust.
Fryevia is fully magic pot'd now thanks to arena rewards from last week!
I still miss having her magic stat above 700.

Get the fuck out, Rosa!
Need to get a party capable of doing ELT.
I have another one at around 40-45%. I also have 3 ludmiles. How many Dualcasts are ideal to have? I want one for Refia, is one enough?
After this I can finally look into farming some weapons. Only ones I have made are Excalibur, Gungnir and Reberta's lance.
Delita is almost max level already, so I wouldn't need to level and awaken him 2 times. Also, he is pretty beefy.
